@@trimefisto7909 “Over the seas and over the lane, For Ayrenn, Edhelorn or the Mane, The Lords command and we obey, Over the seas and far away” In the actual version it’s: “O’er the hills and far away, through Flanders, Portugal, and Spain, King George commands and we obey, Over the hills and far away.” It’s not entirely the actual music that matches, but the influence is clear if you pair these lyrics together.

Yes, the lyrics do in fact say "Edelhorn". He is the current Silvanar in ESO. And it makes sense, as all three are the rulers of the allied forces of the Aldmeri Dominion: Ayrenn is the queen of the Summerset Isles, Edelhorn's word as Silvanar is law over Valenwood and the Mane is the king of Elsweyr (he's simply known as "The Mane").

In Skyrim, you feel like the world is a narrow, straightforward thing. ESO made the fantasy expand, made it bigger than you thought it was and told you that there was more to see than what you thought you knew. I only got to enjoy it for a couple of stolen hours, but they were memorable, and this song lets me think about them, again and again, cause i don’t got money for online access and no one to share it with.

Oh my lord.....I just had a very cool mental epiphany, just now : As I played ESO for a while today, I went to Skywatch and every time I hear your Annagail character sing this, I'm so amazed with your singing that - I kid you not - I stop one of my characters in his tracks just to hear your cool singing. This is my favorite song off of the entire bards' list of songs.

The lyrics are almost correct. The Name you placed in questionmarks is Edhelorn who is the curent Silvenar, the spiritual leader of the Bosmer, at the beginningi of Elderscrolls Online.

I was just about to say that if they were questioning whether they got it right they did. The song is exclusive to the Aldmeri Dominion, and only by completing the core questline for them will it be understood.

I just noticed that the Dominion has this, the Pact has Three Hearts as One, but the Covenant doesn’t have a song that names/represents all 3 of their peoples together.

that's because the whole alliance is a trick, Redguards and Bretons constantly fight over ownership of Orsinium and ofcourse overthrowing the Orc Kings (whoever present), has been like this for the first and second eras.

@@exoib you kind of implied it. you said the other two have rallying cries but the Covenant didn't because they weren't a stable alliance I prefer playing for the Dominion because I like ayrenn but at the end of the day anyone trying to rule an entire continent with such a variety of people, all of whom have different cultures and beliefs by conquering them is in the wrong. the people of tamriel deserve to decide their own future. at least high isle gave us a hint the alliance leaders were willing to accept that eventually. too bad tiber septim fucked it all up in the end

@@butterysnail2537 Ayrenn deserves to rule, she's the only ruler to visit and understand each and every Tamrielic culture and arts, from sword singing in Hammerfell to refining moon sugar, her early life is just full of adventures, that's how he met Razum dar in Elsweyr as well, no other leader can understand such variety of cultures.

+Malukah, you SLAY on this song. I love this bard song. I admit it's kinda my favorite song off the whole bards playlist. Recently got back into ESO as mom got me a new PS+ account - only SADLY, this time it's for just a few months. Good news is, mom did say that when my few months have expired, she'd at least consider letting me have the extended, year long trial. Love some ESO. Some of the quest glitches get on my nerves, though.

Benjámin Dénes He is the political leader of the Bosmer. The Silvenar and the Green Lady are the spiritual leaders of the Bosmer. And, in some ways, they have far more power than the political King does.
