Rip Susan may 2023-June 2023 Susan 2.0 should be done in a couple of weeks. I will make a reveal video later in the year when regional competitions start happening. Don’t wanna give too many leaks🤫🤫🤫
what will you be doing for endgame or are you not going for an endgame love your robot i like the catapult idea we are doing something like that on are robot to but it as our shooter good luck this season have fun
At 2:28, you said that the drivetrain was 600 rpm 6 motor drive, but the gearing looks like its getting geared down(small to big gear)? Are the wheels spinning at 600 rpm, or are you using 600 rpm motors? Also quick question, do you think the green or blue motors are better for drivetrains?
@@fluffydeath2365 so then would u use like screw joints or something to get freespin? Because for Spin Up I did 600 rpm down to around 300-400 rpm and after maybe 10 mins they would burn out. How would you reduce friction on the drivetrain?
@@olliedaoriginal you do not need to use screw joints, but it also depends on the weight of your robot. If you are driving an absolute chonker of a robot it may burnout. the easiest way to achieve low friction is to test each wheel as you assemble it so you can figure out any that might be problematic. To tell if its weight or friction, tilt the robot on its side and check the wattage the motors are drawing. IIRC 5w is about what they should need, and higher and your friction might be the issue
