Great job! here in finland we dont have any qualifiers for the world shoot, people just register for the world shoot and we are chosen regarding to rankings, reason might be that we have propably atleast ten times less active shooters here😅
Congrats! A question from a new shooter. After you drop your magazines on the ground during reloads, do you have to clean them? Do you risk a malfunction if you don't clean the dirt, mud, or sand?
Congratulations man! The best 7/18? matches sounds like so many to me haha. Lots of work to make the team. I would love to hear more about it in another video!
Thanks Jay! Yeah it’s a lot to join 🥲 and yes best 7 out of 18 scores. Lots of shooters want to take the spot in the team as well so you really have to take it. Been following your competing and training for a while too! Congrats on your recent finish in Carry Optics Nationals! Hope to visit the US probably next year and shoot a local match or a big one maybe.
Thank you! So yes they’re all Level III’s that have 15 stages or more (but usually just 15). And yes they’re weighted the same despite the number of GM’s joining. So if you win one with just you as the GM, you’re lucky. 😂 but if you win one with 10 of them it’s the same score listed.
Hey, bro. Do you get DQ’d if your ammo doesn’t pass the chrono test? If so, why is it done after you’ve done all the stages and not before? Wouldn’t you just end up wasting hundreds of rounds if your ammo doesn’t meet the minimum power factor? Just got into shooting and haven’t joined a match yet so I’m genuinely curious. TIA and hope you qualify for the next World Shoot!
@@angelo022996 Hey man! Great question. You don’t get DQ’ed but instead your scored are nullified… pretty much the same thing 😅 The reason why it’s done after I do all my stages usually is because they take your bullets at random in any stage… it might be stage 1 or stage 15. So I just do it after I do all the stages in general. Hehe
@@thomas.shoots nice lol atleast they collecting if for you , not just stealing it There was a goblin at the rifle zero range the other week , and he had collected all of my brass before I got back from checking targets , pissed me off so much I confronted him said excuse me mr goblin just because I don’t pick it up immediately doesn’t mean I don’t want it , ask next time
6:00 no DQ for finger in trigger guard? I've always been told that you can't be "aiming at" targets through a vision barrier so the finger must come off
Rule 8.5.1 Except when the competitor is actually aiming or shooting at targets, all movement must be accomplished with the fingers visibly outside the trigger guard. You must be referring to this rule. It’s most definitely open to interpretation by the Range Officer in charge. I guess in my vision he also thought I was aiming at the targets and didn’t mind the vision barrier as well. Rule also doesn’t state anything about vision barriers… I guess they should update this to make it clearer for what’s really right or wrong.
sir request vid (demanding lol) how to start practical shooting/competition shooting. i want to start this hobby meron an ltopf, guns on process kaso no idea how to start or approach/find gun clubs that does this.
Ohhh that could be nice. Hehe But it’s really asking lang the range you shoot at how to register in a nearby gun club! Then just join the practices. Hehehe
