Emporio Cancun Hotel
Have you ever been sitting at the airport waiting to board your flight and you hear over the intercom that your flight is overbooked and they are looking for volunteers to take a later flight? We recently traveled to Cancun and on our way back, this happened to us. Because of the pandemic and Cancun being one of the few places Americans can travel, it was expected that some of the flights would be over booked. Our flight with American Airlines was overbooked and they were looking for 2 people to stay overnight and catch a flight in the morning. American Airlines was offering:
1. Overnight stay at a 4 star all-inclusive hotel
2. Transportation to and from
3. $250 airline credit
So we decided to take them up on that offer and stay overnight at the Emporio hotel on the airline's dime and this was our experience.
