Overclocked Extreme Speed Treadmill Harry And Photon test the treadmill until it pops! For Proper Electric Motion, see below in the links: e force Web: eforce.cvut.cz... / e.force.prague / eforcefee
@@dementious if you don't like what his doing, don't come back. You don't deserve to be in his list. Real people like when there is new videos, 2 days or 2 month. Look in the mirror and say that you deserves new videos?
Proof that not all chinesium is weak or badly built. Nearly 3x the nominal voltage applied and still did not pop immediately. I was quite scared about flywheel or encoder exploding but no, did not happen.
For everyone wondering, he's an electrical engineer and had his own business for years that's filed taxes just a couple of months ago. He's fine just not interested in making / doesn't have time for videos. Simple as that.
His company has like 6 people working for it he isn't a sole trader so this could mean nothing. Also the last time we heard from him his life was falling apart and he became infatuated with someone who ditched his ass as soon as she hit the uk
considering this motor was rated 180V, the fact that it reached 510V or so until it finally gave out was absolutely jaw dropping. And then it KEPT GOING.
Exactly! thou I'd of thought there would be a little redundancy built into the motor considering the somewhat harsh environment it has to work in. I'd doubt a cheaper motor would last very long...
You've no idea how heartwarming it is to hear you say "flames!" again with excited glee. Glad to see you back chief! Here's to many more explosions and combustulating oddities
I miss you andy! Please come back! Your videos make so many people happy and more educated! Always awesome entertainment! You made me want to get into the electrical trade! Thanks for that!
Where U at photon please dont be gone for too much longer and whatever it is that is keeping u from ur loyal and loving fan base we all truly hope all is well for u and the family and that we see u soon.
photon buddy where did you go? i only hope your delay since last upload is only to build suspense but considering the nature of your spare time antics i am starting to fear the worst, i hope you are alive and well and still up to no good but i do crave to see more of your content!
cant lie, watched this geeza for years, noticed he hasnt uploaded again, hopefully whatever has happened isnt major, i hope everythings going well and i hope to see u again at some point
I instantly noticed that when you showed that the treadmill had the ability to show videos on it... I saw Clive on it. Interesting to see that you actually watch his content as well.
I made one hell of a belt sander out of these once. For use in guitar work, other musical instrument work like upright basses, and restorations. After working with it, I now stop when I see them at scrap yards and on the side of the road and grab the motor and the controller . They make great use for all kinds of things
Just looking at it go at relativistic speeds at 11:06 makes me wanna put on protective gear while watching this on a phone. This plane takeoff sound definitely warrants eye protection, face shield and padded tracksuit.
Dunno about the speed part without knowing the gearing ratios but I think you can measure the rpm by scanning the audio frequency (Hz) and multiplying it by 60 to get your rpm. Probably not as accurate, but definetly possible.
The motor took a lot of abuse. I was amazed how well it healed up. Looks like as long as you keep it factory then it’s pretty well made and can easily be controlled with an arduino if the pwm speed controller started giving issues. If the repair was free then yes they can fix it otherwise I will put my own control system in it. I just fixed my sister’s washer by building an arduino setup and several relay modules and various other parts for $60 I had everything I needed to gut the faulty factory electronics and replace them with a controller designed and built by me. I can fix it very easily and quickly because all my hardware is off the shelf. I didn’t have to make something custom except for brackets to hold everything.
Man, I can’t believe that it’s been 2 years since you disappeared again… please come back soon. We all miss the legend. Whatever happens, just know that you have all of our support.
@@scottieburr He's fine his company Lasertex ltd has filed its taxes just couple of months ago. He's busy and/or not interested in making videos right now.
I hope you are doing alright brother. It was nice having you back for those few videos. Hopefully we get another few in the future. If not that cool as long as you are doing good.
I think he will just like he went away last time. I liked how this time around he went more in depth about what he was doing and the science behind it and not just popping stuff.
