Overcoming Anger and Anxiety 

I stumbled upon the movie Seven Years In Tibet. I was moved by the story of you and Heinrich, to a point that I couldn't stop weeping. You lost your home, and yet you still stand before us and teach us how to be happy. I'm so thankful for his holiness, and I pray that I can meet you in person one day.

It's interesting that Buddha was not a Buddhist, christ was not a Christian, etc. Through self discovery it came about, not through scriptures.

One thing I'd like to relay a passage from the first page of the Torah which is the monotheistic scripture Old Testament. "And so the beasts of the fields the fish of the sea and the fowl of the air , the human being has been given dominion over. "...And the fruits of the trees and the herbs of the fields for the human being will be his meat." Dalai Lama I looked up the word dominion and found that it means manager or control over. but it also means to be a protector of this beautiful garden, our great Planet ,Mother Earth , so we are becoming concerned to protect life in our garden and in doing so are becoming more compassionate and becoming more humane, sustainable and peaceful in this beautiful garden, to prevent from becoming Destroyers.. so to have dominion we are Protectors of our beautiful precious Garden are great blue planet Mother Earth and as the scripture says the herbs of the field and the fruits of the tree for the human being will be his meat. Isn't that beautiful how the first page of the scripture in Genesis describes how we are to be protectors after natural habitats and Protectors of the species in this precious Garden where we are a part of the Miracle of Life the Tree of Life. Our precious Garden. there is another Passage in the monotheistic Bible later that says" and for the human being he will eat the flesh without the blood." And I realized Peach flesh mango flesh peanut flesh is All Flesh without the blood!. I see these passages as pointing to compassion and respect for all life anyway I thought you might enjoy learning that about the Jewish scripture the Torah or five books of Moses. Jesus Christ also thought about peace and compassion for all life he said no more need for sacrifice Jesus was a Jewish rabbi only the Jewish rabbis were allowed 2 process the animals for nutrition it is a very strict and Humane process to try to reduce the torture and abuse of the animal because the Jews recognize that the animals suffer so they try to inflict the least suffering on them but Jesus Christ when he was alive told the Jewish Nation that there is no more need for sacrifice no more needs for human or animal sacrifice. He went on to say that he would be the last sacrifice. because the part of the world he lived in the Romans and the Jews saw him as a political and religious threat the Romans would crucify people on a wooden cross as capital punishment the Jews did not believe in capital punishment or murder but they did through the Jewish rabbis process some species of animals for nutrition with very strict standards separating them 25 feet apart laying them down so they did not fall down and only cutting the Carotid and jugular arteries to stop the oxygen and blood flow to the brain so that the brain of the animal would fall asleep to reduce their suffering Jesus was a Jewish rabbi he spoke to the people and told them there is no more need for sacrifice anymore in a mosaic picture in one Church in Europe he is shown sitting with his friends his disciples eating a vegetarian meal so he made it clear that there was no more need to sacrifice an animal or a human being Jesus was asked by the wise men of the time in the Middle East" where is heaven?" and Jesus replied," it is all around you ,it is above you, and it is INSIDE of you". the love in our hearts that we express, the kindness we express, and the joy we bring to others reducing their suffering just as you teach Dalai Lama is also what Jesus taught 2,000 years ago. he washed the feet of his disciples and told the people ,"do as I do, love each other and love your enemy!". so you see, Dalai Lama ,your teachings ,the Buddha's teachings and the teachings of Jesus Christ are similar .Jesus also gave a teaching of the Good Samaritan that says that even in a community where there is strife violence anger and immorality, there is still some good people, and there is even ( as in each of us who are never perfect )there is good in all of us. And as the prophet Muhammad said he is Holy and his name is PEACE. there are many people around the world that say God is LOVE God is good , a Good, Orderly, Direction. to understand good, we understand what kindness is ,what compassion is, to understand Order , we learn to follow within the laws of Morality , In a peaceful disposition ,so that order will come to the human community. Our Lives from birth to death we have some control over, the path our Direction. We can learn to reduce our anger and anxiety . we can learn to increase our kindness and compassion, and bring joy to the world. With our thoughts, our heart and our two hands to make it happen.! just like you say Dalai Lama we have the power to become the best part of Being human, becoming HUMANE!♥️🐒🐎🦙

I love how you do not condescend to young people; how you sit down beside them as an equal. You are correct in suggesting that chronological age does not determine wisdom. The ability to think & reason can be achieved at nearly any age. "God" is just another word for "Nature". We human animals evolved naturally from nature as did all other living species on our shared planet. All of existence is of nature. Love (kindness) is naturally where the happiness & well-being of one (or many) is essential to another (or others) -- no mythical god idea(s) required. A little something I wrote at age thirteen without fully understanding what then flowed from my mind: "Education is the greater source of life, love & wealth in that it broadens our understanding of the joys & sorrows of life, the agonies & ecstasies of love and the securities & tragedies of wealth.

Thank you, his holiness India all time invited every religion I think India,s ancestors had heart to see the complete face of reilgion , culture and life of this whole Earth.

Ｉ must say I always enjoy listening and learning from HH about these topics and am glad there are always topics that are relevant to our times like global warming, political conflicts etc. I most especially love the way HH talor fits his talks according to his audiences by talking about things that matter most to them. I also most love the way HH makes a joke or talks about a funny truth in life and laughs about it and everyone laughs! Let's all keep the logic and bring out the compassion to everyone! Dalai Lama. That was a good day. I had a chance to be so close to him in his audience. I was very joyful. I didn't understand a word he said. The high majority of the crowd was from Tibet, so he spoke in Tibetan and I didn't care. Lots of things I enjoyed about him, but most of all was his constant laugh...It was very Jovial like it came from deep inside him. That was a good day.
