Overcoming Defeat - Joshua 8:1-29 - Al Pittman 

He faced Ai with the javelin, and we today face our Ai with the word of the living God.

Great message! Thank you to you and your wife, Norma. You spoke on my favorite subject "fear." My life scripture is 2 Tim. 1:7. After living several years in fear (unknowingly), I now live in the power, love and sound mind God promises in His Word. Long story short, when mid-life events began to occur, I started drinking to help me sleep, then to numb, then to die. I caused a lot of destruction in only a few years. When I got sober, I asked God why I drank like that, and He showed me it was fear. So I wanted to find out 1) why we fear and 2) how to walk through fear so I can enjoy this precious gift called life. What came out of that journey is a small book titled "F' Fear (Footsteps through Fear toward Freedom)." The F stands for the 5 steps I used to walk through fear. I have chosen to take this letter, typically used to curse, and flip it to impale fear. I thank God every day that He did not let me die when I wanted to so badly, and I promised my mom (now in heaven) that I would help others walk through fear so her tears would not be in vain. Since 2018, God has has been developing a Fear Ministry which is exciting to me. I never wanted to share any of the things I now share without any shame at all. I want God to use whatever He wants to free others from their fear. I am praying for a movement of Christians walking through fear into their purpose ... and having fun doing it!! 🙏 PRAY 🙏 👂 💕 ❤ 💕 👂 You (pastor Al😁) reminded me of a day my 1st hasbeen (2 days b4 his graduation 3 days b4 our wedding) we both excited 😁 I saw he almost rear ended a guy in front of us🙄😮😒 he yells at me for "breathing in LOUDLY" all the way up the hill... We get to the top of the hill (much like the mountains here as in SLC) he pulls out on clutch too slow & rolls back on a police car 🙄🤓😆 I didn't evenbbreath lol he says (VERY LOUDLY) "WHY DIDNT YOU SAY ANYTHING❓❓" I said " I just got botched out for "saying b4" lmao 😆 Needless to say the marriage didn't last long divorced by 19 ✔ 1 dream come true 2 to go... 😆 lol

I still have that CD from years ago, with All Pitman, and Skip, and Angela DePrima..."somewhere". I need to dig it out and give it a listen ♥
