Overcome the fear of other peoples opinion and speaking in to the camera while recording yourself, or in this case myself.
Trying to overcome my fear of recording myself - my first ever vlog entry!
For a very long time I have felt a need to create and publish content on RU-vid but I always hold myself back, afraid of what other people might think and the risk of failing, whatever failing might entail in this scenario.
Still, I created the Gameplaydad "brand" quite some time ago but still haven't gotten around to do a proper gaming stream or record any reviews of gear that I have purchased. Always coming up with excuses and doing other things instead.
So what have changes?
Well, for some reason I started looking for clips on how to overcome the fear of being seen and heard on camera and RU-vid and them stumbled on to some engaging clips which inspired me to just get started and improve while just creating content and putting myself out there.
What now?
Well, I've decided to just challenge myself and record these vlog entries on a fairly regular basis and just dump them on my Gameplaydad channel. This is with the ambition to beat and overcome my fears and self doubt regarding my looks, voice and skills related to doing videoclips where I speak and is seen.
