Probably the best overland video I’ve seen. Thank you for taking the time to get out of the car an film. Very nice camera work. I used to overland in Venezuela and now building a 4Runner to get back in the trails, and your an inspiration: Hope to meet you on a trail some day.
I'm always a fan of overlanding videos that allow the geography to speak for itself and also make good use of narration. Thanks for taking the time to get it right.
Found your channel just a few days ago (whilst looking for inspiration for how to set up and use a new Outback here in New Zealand). To be completely transparent and honest, I hope Netflix or one of the major channels discovers you. Its not just the adventures and footage BUT the person that you are. To have an daytime engineer (I think you are) that presents on screen like this is the perfect recipe for a Netflix series. In fact, they need do little, other than take all your productions as they are and hit the 'go' button. Surely its only a matter of time before your success with this channel explodes...ps- it really works having with your truck and its history. Your FJ has a character all of his own..

Overland on hard level when youre clearing fallen trees with a leatherman tool. Chainsaw? We dont need no stinking chainsaw! I got my trusty handy dandy Leatherman tool! Epic trip brother! Even better video!

Haha man I slept so good that night! It seriously wore me out. On camera it was 30 seconds of cutting, while it actually took around 3 hours total to clear it all!

@@IndependenceOverland my best guess on the bumpers is October. After that, I want to update my suspension and regear, but those probably won't happen until next year. I'm moving to Salt Lake City in the next couple weeks, so a lot is going on. Definitely ready for a trail ride with you and your crew, though!

I actually don’t think so myself. With both small and large avalanches in these areas during the cold months, lots of trees get destroyed. But who knows!

We do on highways, and steep shelf roads where we might roll. I just don’t typically worry about it when I’m bumping down trails. In roll over type situations, we do. Like the scene where Natalia even mentions her seatbelt holding her to the seat. Seriously though, thank you for your concern sir. And thank you for watching 🙏
Interesting commentary: wife’s live longer so trick them to get them to work… you might want to be careful with your words, as there’s a bit of logic missing. Are you trying to say that apples live longer than pears, so be careful in which to bite first (see how logical that is? 🤣😂🤣‼️) Long live misguided analogies!!!
