Conquering Sekiro's UNFORGIVING Platinum Trophy! In this video, I went for the platinum trophy on Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. This is one of the hardest platinum trophies in the FromSoftware soulsborne series. Despite the difficulty, I absolutely loved playing the game and it made me want platinum the other souls games too!

@@nick_ar all you have to do is jump, you absorb the lightning then you press R1 as you come down but before you land on ground. Nvm you figured it out by fountainhead palace

And he kept clutching the lightning reversals on Isshin. He kept dodging to the side, which meant less vertical height, making it much harder to redirect properly.

Honestly this might be fromsoftware's magnum opus. The art style,the animations,the pace,the length and of course the combat everything about was just perfect and balanced. No bs gimmicky fights like malenia. No stupid unfair 3/2v1s that are based on luck. No time wasting heal farming. No constantly repeating boss fights with bigger health bars and more damage that serve no other purpose but to be a filler. Just absolutely well thought out level designs and bosses

Great video, It truly felt like a journey like most Fromsoft games. Got the platinum myself a couple of months ago, loved every minute of it. The platinum itself isn't hard as most of it is just playing the game a couple of times and grinding for experience for a few hours. Now if one finds the game hard, then I imagine you will struggle. I was fortunate enough that the gameplay clicked for me and I was having too much fun to feel any frustration from having to repeat a few bosses several times.

This was one of my favourite completions of all time it felt so good to finally complete it ! The only trophy/ achievement I didn’t enjoy was the one for unlocking all skills because I had to just farm xp on this one area for a couple hours

Sekiro's combat is unforgiving but once you get it, the challenge is actually pretty well thought, Isshin Sword Saint is one of my favorite final bosses ever, it demands pretty much everything that you've learned.

Bro, I started a FromSoft journey a while back and have platinumed every game apart from Elden Ring which I'm playing at the moment. It's been an absolute joy. I've loved their games ever since Demons Souls on the PS3. Can't wait to see your journey. Dark Souls 1 was always the best for me, but after playing Sekiro I don't know anymore. i beat sekiro the first month it came out, it was my first fromsoftware game i beat. I struggled at first but but got really good with the mechanics , after watching videos on sekiro years later i am NOW realizing that this game is waaaaay harder than what i thought when i was playing and It makes me proud to know i beat this as my first. @Izawa and the gunners in the sunken valley, the headless, and lady butterfly, and a bunch of others. The umbrella is a really good prothesthetic.

@@izawa9211Actually the umbrela is the most usefull prosthethic , the purple one is op vs terror it negates all of it , same for the pheonix one vs fire for demon of hatred yes but also for isshin ashina it negates the beatdown if you position between the fire zones and then use it and you block all the hits , the umbrela is also good for genichiro and owl if you know that grabs are blocked by it so is good vs enma ,isshin ashina and genichiro etc .

Sekiro is the first game that I ever got a platinum on and it started a craving but the way I got the trophy was doing new game plus a bunch by the Time I was done I was on new game +10 and it felt so fun I never really felt like I was grinding in the game but it was neat seeing you do it a whole other way.
