I faintly remember watching this show as a kid. The reason this scene is so dramatic, is that the man was expecting the girl to be dead or something. But turns out she's alive!
@@-YogSothoth i don't think "dramatic" is mixing all the fucking effects to fill 5 mins, it's pathetic that indians cannot think to fill these 5 mins, it's just so pathetic.
I love how in other dramas (American / British / Chinese), they focus on the shame after a slap, while in these ones the slap looks like a straight up martial arts move.
Honestly the actors all deserve Oscar’s, how they did this with a straight face I’ll never know. That’s true talent right there EDIT: Y'all I beggeth thee, please before you comment something of editors replaying the scene, I know. Just read the replies I have made to others 11 months ago. Thank you, omg 😭
@@popcultureoverdosed Yes, but imagine just having to stair like that at a camera for a long period of time. I can’t even stare for a second without laughing my ass off.
What makes it worse is that they don’t give warning, they just throw all the special effects all in your face and you don’t know what to do with all this information
It's not even just the editing that makes it funny, it's also that it goes on for SO long. Like they have an extra 3 minutes they need to fill so they just replay the same 10 seconds with every single effect plugin they have.
0:20 The fact that the grandma herself looks confused about the situations makes it even funnier cause it means(kinda) she is being dramatic canonically
Thank you for making this. Haven't laughed this much in a long time, in tears right now. The car window scene, holy shit. I managed to find the original episode where this is shown and it's even longer and more hilarious and absurd.
What a masterpiece, truly outmatches disney, they could never top it. Especially the car window opening scene, very dramatic but not too over dramatic and there is no over usage of vfx or sfx, truly an immaculate scene. This is life changing. Masterpiece. Incredible.
i remember our family used to watch this indian drama 'kasauti jidagii kay' we used to sing the song of that . The characters on the show can't die they always came back with a plastic surgery LOL
I Hated when it happened after the death of a certain actor... it's disrespecting the death of the actor of that character if you just Replace him with another actor Ekta Kapoor was a bigger cancer than TikTok is, it seems
@@box5420 i wouldn't even be able to move. Imagine a killer comes and you try to hide but as you walk you just hear "tling kling" from the jewellery. Your done. Your done!
The fact that all of these special effects and rapidly switching between scenes and everything actually keeps me watching because I know once the 100 editing effects are used one after another, something crazy is about to happen💀
The reason these scenes are so overdramatic is because there is some type of sudden shock given to one of the characters. Such as the one with the girl opening the car window is so such because the guy thought that the girl was dead but wasn't.
0:24 I could've graduated from harvard, move to nyc, write 40 books and 20 albums, get married,go on a world tour, get 80 years old, knit 30 scarves and watch all the movies on the Netflix while I'm waiting for that girl to make eye contact with that man.
@@logothetis4771 if there was enough possiblity of your parents droping you on a trash can (a chance they didnt miss, of course.) Pretty sure there would be any possibilities for anything
as an indian, i can confirm that this isnt the worse, there was a scene in a movie where the hero carries a person and runs faster than the train next to them 😂
Whenever I watch these scenes in the serials and it’s the most curious part and the effects won’t stop I’ll be like oh come on just get this freakin thing over with 😂
As an Indian I grew up with my mom watching Indian dramas on her computer every weekend This actually brings me some nostalgia but still is funny as heck
@@Ro.Gue.Ish. It's not as insane with the editing as Indian stuff, but it IS pretty nuts. This parody is fairly representative of the genre, applied judiciously to Spider-Man: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0lwCUDK-Ly4.html
@@Ro.Gue.Ish.Not all soap operas in the Philippines are dramatic. But, when it's dramatic it is surely something that will give you stress and anxiety.
