overhauling the spirit Myers figure. email any questions- elvisechoe@aol.com YES, I sell the pumpkin in the video. THANKS EVERYONE for your views and comments :)
ughhh.... When you turned off the lights and cued the Myers music. I was just like " This guys is a fucking genius". Great job on giving the animatronic some character and bringing it to life.
I'm quite impressed, you did a very good job at making him actually look terrifying and lifelike. The original looks like a child standing on stilts wearing a Walmart mask.
Very nice modification! I saw this at Spirit and couldn't believe how goofy it is. I went as cheap as possible with the frame of my MM prop. I used 3 6ft fence pieces that I cut into a skeleton shape and used coat hangers and duct tape for arm flexibility. Had plenty of plastic bags for stuffing. Only things I had to buy were mask, coveralls and prop hands. He doesn't move but he's got cameras in his eyes and he watches out the window. It was a fun project but I would have definitely bought your version!
Thank you so very much Nick for this video. You saved me $250. No way I'd have the patience to assemble it and definitely no way I have the skills or resources to overhaul it to make him look realistic. Great job and I admire the precision you have with all of your Michael Myers overhauls.
It's funny, everytime I walk into a Spirit Halloween store I always see this Michael and think to myself damn someone needs to make this better and man I'm sure stoked that I looked that up and found this video. Been recently seeing your videos lately because of my Myers obsession. This video has solidified a subscription.
If your version of this is what we got, I would buy this in a heartbeat. But no way am I forking over 259.00 and then have to overhaul it. I don’t have the facility to work on it nor the high quality mask, so it is a no buy for me. I notice you didn’t have the talking option turned on, whoever thought that was a good idea knows nothing about MM.
Really amazing work here. I'm always so disappointed at the cheesy animatronics they have on the floor at Spirit, but you really hit the nail on the head.
I cant believe people paid 259 bucks for myers and he looked like complete crap! they could've done a better job on myers. your version looks pro I'd definitely pay 259 if the prop looked like your finished product
Considering he put a $200 mask on his version... Utilizing a $259 Spirit frame... And then a bunch of other materials, me thinks itd cost ya more than $259 for his version
Awesome job Nick!!! Holy shit I can't believe you're still having a Halloween addiction. I remember about 8 to 10 years ago I found you on RU-vid and I watched all your videos because of all the awesome masks you have. It's crazy that you still have love for this and you're still making videos.
I bought one of these at a discount. I personally don't make a habit of modifying things I buy. These kinds of props are the budget creep kids and timid people out thing. I thought it looked a bit like a milky white Ken Doll with eyes that seemed to stare into the sky. I first turned the eyes upside down to give a more forward and downward gaze towards those that approach it. After that, since I am lazy and still found the out of box mask still slightly cartooney. I bought a H6 mask and carefully aligned the fit over the original head. Sure it was a tight fit and slightly squished the original head foam causing the eyes to be less visible , but it works real well. Now the kids will run and they won't expect the creepier appearance.
That looks amazing!! I picked up a virtually brand new H20 version of Michael Myers a couple years back for $80. Might do the same thing to him. Just not to this extent.
This video was kind of creepy because there were michael masks and other masks staring straight at the camera, as if Michael is staring into my soul lmao
I love him it gets closer and closer until Halloween gets here so I'm excited and I am a true fan of him I have watched alll of his movies so good luck and make more vids they are so good I'm going to be him or ghost face for Halloween Keep Him good but I heard if u have him on all the time he would fry so I hope he dose not so please like this comment ✌🔪🎃
Curious, is there a reason you chose to utilize a wood rod for the extension instead of pvc pipe? Seems like PVC would be lighter and capable of using the wire to go directly into the pipe. With the foam theorhetically filling the inside of the pilpe it sesms like a lighter and more logical solution.
I hope you didnt pay $250 for Michael...because you redid almost the whole thing..plus you make the mask and hands! Im going to turn an old static werewolf figure I have.. into a moving Michael.. I think Ill make a video of it....
i like it i am not saying i dont but i feel its not so complete by maybe fixing the motor your actually can fix the motor i did when i remade the jason animatronic
So, may I ask you a question about the New mask/new sculpt you’re making. Aka: elvisechoe.wixsite.com/themaskpit/latest-mask So, will you be able to make the latest mask and sell before Halloween comes? One more question, how long will it take for a regular mask or a very detailed and very accurate mask to be made?
