Ergonomic Partners' team of engineers designed, built, and programmed this crane automation project for transferring bus cabs during manufacturing. It features a custom overhead crane and hoist with sensors that allow them to automatically lift the large frames from one conveyor and move them across the plant to another conveyor without interfering with traffic on the factory floor. This crane automation system helped improve both production and safety.
