The money to noise converter works great. It’s making sweet two-stroke sounds and is running great. But keeping it cool in the flying configuration (cowls on and secured) is proving a challenge. What do you think?
5-10 minutes of ground running even at rpm WILL make it overheat!! I work on lots of 582’s on PPC’s. And while syncing the carbs I have to be careful to not ground run more than 5 minutes or so. That kink in the hose is not enough to cause problems. Though the hose might fold a bit but as it collapses it flattens and gets wider so it is really reducing flow? 🤷
The more I think about it, I don’t think that’s always true. Eventually the passage starts becoming constricted until it’s complete blocked, such as a full kink.
