Dear Saiful ad Sharifah, celebrating Raya with Abg Ajeeb and Nur is the ultimate experience of being true Malaysian hospitality. Abang Ajeeb and Nur with their immediate families has been a Family in every sense of the word.
Can we just appreciate the fact that this channel makes these awesome videos everyday and makes us smile:) They never fail to entertain us ♥🤗 Amazing and Superb
The best to describe Abang Ajeeb....... "What you see, what you get". Simply real. Cannot thank him enough for having Steve and Ivana around during this wonderful festive season 😘
Greetings! Ivana and Steve. Such a thrill watching you enjoy Hari Raya in Malaysia. Hopefully, Hari Raya 2023 will be with special guest star DIANE GREIG and breaking 1 million subscribers 😀😃😄😁🤩. What's next on your travel - going north to Perak with Crystal or flying east to Sabah? I am always hungry watching you eat 🤤, even right after a meal. I think come late June, 🍈durian will be in season and also tarap fruit in East Malaysia. I Looking forward to your comparison vlog. 🤗👋
Awesome, awesome, awesome Hari Raya at a kampung. The big gathering, the chatting, the laughter and good food there showed how fun raya was. It was and will be an unforgettable memory for you both , Steve lvana. As for Abang Ajib and Nur, you both are the best, represented all Malaysians for the great and warm hospitality. A huge thank you from all of us. MALAYSIA BOLEH !!!! 💞😍
Nice dress, Steve. You just look like a kampung YB(Yang Berhormat) in that dress 😂😂. Good to know you enjoy our foods, the people, and it's hopitality. Hope both of you enjoy your journey always fella
Very heartwarming Raya videos from Steve & Ivana. Kudos to Abang Ajeeb and Kak Noor for being such an amazing and generous host that makes Steve & Ivana as part of their family ♥️
Thank you Abang Ajeeb and Nur for their hospitality...that's truly Malaysian. Steve its true that in Malaysia, when you visit someone's house, they expect you to eat. The more you eat, the happier they are with you. Ivana you are such a sport doing the tick tok dance.
Nowadays, many families do organise such family gathering, some either annually or biannually. My family gathering is biannually, but because of covid - it was postponed two meets already. Hopefully, we will able to continue the tradition (meeting, gift exchange, games and fun family activities) in next year Raya.

Oh boy I've been thinking about maman for months now. One day the word suddenly appeared in my head out of nowhere. The last time I had it was when I was just a school kid, that was aeons ago!!
@@ajeebfoodhunter Selamat Hari Raya dik (wpun org lain panggil awak abang, awak pangkat adik utk akak 😁)... kirim salam pada Nur....semoga Ajeeb, Nur dan semua ahli keluarga dilimpahkan rahmat dan dilapangkan rezeki oleh Allah SWT...aamiin Translation for Steve, Ivana and others: Selamat Hari Raya little brother (dik/adik). Though others may call you big brother (abang), age wise you are little brother to me as big sister (akak/kakak)... send my regards to Nur... may Ajeeb, Nur and all of their family members will be blessed and being endowed with wealth by Allah ....aamiin
U guys have had such lovely moments at all d Raya open houses, d ones that will stay good in your minds n hearts. Joyous Raya open houses with lots of delicious good food.
Each year the Raya celebrations will move back about 2 weeks each year. It means if Raya 2022 is on the first week of May, then for Raya 2023 is will be around mid April 2023. This is because its based on lunar calendar rather than sun calendar. This also means in few years time the Raya and Chinese New Year will be celebrated on with one day apart. The last time it happened was from 1996 until 1998. This is called Kongsi Raya or shared raya
What a bunch of lovely, friendly people? You guys are lucky to get invited to all these places for Raya. People don't do this for Xmas in Canada, do they?
@@jonmath4182 Yup Jering.. Hahaha.. Jering rebus, makan dgn kelapa parut dan sedikit garam. Sebenarnya sedap, rasa dia berlemak, salty(secukup rasa) dan sedikit pahit(mild). Cuma kalau tak biasa memang samada akan suka atau tak suka. Macam durian.
Tk lawak..bygkn kn kalo.kita tkmpnah mkn n disajikn.? Nk.tolak.kurang sopan..nk luahkn pun ...tk bole pe rasa? Org tua pula yg wat tu Kena igt bukn semua mknn kita org bole trima.tekak.masing2..ntah bg aku yg ni semcm." Mencemarkn" hospitility" yg otherwise excellent..
Riding motorbikes. Have you ever seen schoolgirls and female university students (in uniform, which means a skirt) in Thailand ride on the back of motorbike taxis? Sidesaddle! 😁 Looks really precarious.. Those tents - there's a whole business of people renting out tents for gatherings and such. They'll show up in a truck with the tent and poles, and lights and ceiling fans, and set it up. And take it down afterwards, too. A common sight, especially in villages. If that was laksa Johor, it's very different from the Penang sort. I really like Laksa Johor, but don't like Penang Laksa that much, especially when it's too spicy, like it is in most mall food courts. The "banana heart" - jantung pisang (because it's heart shaped) - it's actually the flowers of the banana tree. You usually see it at the end of a bunch of bananas, it's usually purple, and there are layers of immature bananas or banana flowers inside it. The bananas in the bunch started out inside the the "heart", and as they get bigger the covering layers fall away. When the bananas become ripe, there's still the heart at the end of the stalk, with immature bananas inside it. 7:11 - that actually looks like eggplant.. 😁Daging Salai is smoked beef. Not one of my favorites, I'll have to admit..
