You're wedding song was massively better than mine! My wife made me dance to a fucking Journey song (Open Arms). All my friends and my dad made fun if me. It was horrifyingly embarrassing.
The riff that comes in at 3 minute mark sounds a lot like the one 2 minutes into Prelude to Agony by Type O negative, which would be a very fitting wedding song for many people
I just had listened entire album and have to say this is the best thrash metal album not just by overkill but by any band in last 20 years .....been OK fan for 25 years now.

I have been listening to these guys for 25 plus years. Seen em live at Bogarts in Cincinnati, Ohio no less than 15 times. In an age when metal has become stagnent, with way to much drop C guitars and too much growling bullshit for vocals, Bobby and co. continue to deliver fresh metal RECORD after RECORD after RECORD give me a thumbs up if you agree!
these guys have set the standard for thrash metal so many bands come out and have nothing on overkill, exodus and testament lol i dont know why they bother, this album is gold
Well said. I too believe that Overkill has stood the test of time. For me, they are one of the best out there in heavy metal and thrash. All Overkill songs kick major ass and they consistantly put out some killer albums. They know what works and know how to give the people what they want. There is no selling out to the trends or to the record companies. Overkill rules!!
not by me.i think he's the best drummer they've ever had.overall the whole band is under appreciated.i know they are huge in europe but in the states people act like metallica and ozzy and priest are the be all end all of metal.overkill has done more in the last 2 records then those bands have in 20 years.

Whenever I hear Overkill - .. makes me chin grin.\m/ Perfect thrash chemistry, all musicians are unique and D.D.Verni's bass keeps 'er in place. Like a vintage wine-is new-when,.. uncorked..just sayin' Hell yeah!
YEAH! Can't wait for the new album. Ironbound is a masterpiece-probably the best thrash metal album of all time-hopefully, they can live up to the standard set on Ironbound.
This song gave me an idea for a cartoon. It's a new superhero: a muscly guy in a tshirt and jeans, but instead of a man head, he has a snake head. He fires electric bolts from his eyes and/or fingers and this song is the theme song to the cartoon. His nemesis is Malloy Mongoose; a Mongoose in a suit. and the snake guy does kung fu and fights all the mongoose minions. I am a genius.
WOW!!! looks like its another round of killer OVERKILL. what an amazing song, keeping that thrash alive and kicking. too bad metallica is m.i.a but when youve got lars calling the shots, i guess lulu part two will be coming our way. in some form or another ha!! ha!!! till then keep thrash alive by supporting bands like overkill on tour. True, I can't disagree with you, but I don't expect guys who are in their forties to jump around like they were in their twenties. Had the pleasure of seeing Messugah play live for the first time last month and they didn't move at all on stage. Sure, that was partly because their music is so much more technical than Overkill. But the energy was so frenetic even though it wasn't coming from the musicians jumping around. The energy came from the music itself. Anyway, just my opinion of course.
