I've always liked Overkill but never😅 really appreciated them until recently. Why? I realized they're the only band to remain consistent through their entire career.. They're a metal band they know it and they never tried to be anything else. Shit even their weakest album, IMO, is I hear black. And it's still good🤟

You're one year ahead of me bro. I hear you loud and clear....I'm still holding the horns high and thrashing stronger than ever. Best shape of my life and the music is better than ever as well. These guys are just another classic powerhouse thrash metal band from the 80's still laying down some serious music and in most cases better than ever. Exodus, Testament, Anthrax, Prong, Death Angel and Sepultura are others that have recently released new stuff and have been putting awesome stuff out for years now. Imo, thrash is better than ever today......\m/\m/

It did. He used to sing with a more clear voice in the early albums and gradually changed to a more Udo-like scream. He sounds a lot different here than he did in "In Union We Stand". I personally like both vocals.

it is deeply gratifying to hear the band, one of the bands, who laid out the soundtrack of my adolescence and who still to this day, many years later are putting out some of their best. This album is great all the way through... Bobby's vocals are still as good as they were 20-plus years ago, I saw them March 5th in Atlanta and was blown away and Bobby was nice enough to hand me the setlist. buy this album, support the band and support metal and I'm glad to see the old guys showing the younger generation how it's done.

Yes the warehouse is a good location for their videos it seems :) The middle bit is very influenced by a couple of tracks from the 1989/The Years Of Decay era, I hear. That can only be a good thing, because that album rocks!

This is the best thrash album of the year so far, I know a lot of people are saying how Metallica has made such a great comeback but I only enjoy like 2 songs on that album...this entire album is great, imo better than new Havok, Kreator, and Terrifier which are all great albums. edit - Just realized Hardwired actually came out in 2016 but I still like this album more.

Overkill is arguably the most underrated metal band of all time. It's a wonder why they aren't more commonly name checked as one of the greats of the genre. There isn't an album of theirs that I haven't loved, nor has there been an album that hasn't impressed me. If these guys would do me the immense favor of touring with Megadeth, that would just make my skin all tickly. Speaking of, the groove riff to this song faintly reminds me of Megadeth's "Play For Blood" off of United Abominations.

Personal favorite song from the album. Great one!! The whole album is amazing. I think it's in Overkill's top 5, up there with The Years of Decay, Feel The Fire, Ironbound and Horrorscope (in no specific order). And it's not an easy decision anyway. I'm not used yet to see Blitz with his new look. For some moments, I have the feeling he's another person imo.

I listened to old Overkill albums. They were good… but did not quite convince me. Then I heard Ironbound from 2012. Whereas most big thrash bands have gone downhill, Overkill (and Testament) seem to get better! Crazy!
