OVERLAND NORWAY: Canoeing in Femundsmarka, Norway 

CANOEING IN FEMUNDSMARKA, NORWAY

Sondre got this crazy idea to handcraft his own canoe. We therefore had to go canoeing in historical Femundsmarka, Norway. This is maybe the best part of Norway if you're going canoeing. The route follows Langtjønna landskapsvernområde (protected landscape) from Synnervika to Håsjøen, through a historical place where wood logging was a big deal back in the old days. We also slept at some old cabins (Lortholbua and Furubakken) that's been there since the 1700th and paddling through timber chutes.
