Hi mate, what tyre size do you run? And is the air suspension on standard height? Do you also do some more serious offroad with this setup? Best regards from Belgium, David.
Hi david, I’m running 265/60/r18s, air suspension is on standard and yes I do more green lanes in this set up, need to get rock sliders soon though! Hopefully show you a video on that soon!
Of course, roof rack is a front runner slimline 2, and awning is a eeziawn batwing 270, the roof rack wasn’t hard to fit as it’s just bolt on, but easier if you can get a friend to help! If you want to see more photos you can check out my instagram, cheers!
@@k29_lr4 Thanks. I've had a nightmare with fitting a roof rack to my Landcruiser 100 series. It's also a Front Runner slimline, and fits into the existing threaded holes in the roof. [You need to remore the roof bars and weather strip]. And somehow, it's been leaking, and water is finding its way down into the cils where it collects. Not Good! Anyway, i'm going to sorn the LC and get a Disco 4. Thanks for the advice, Cheers. [I am also in Scotland - North Berwick east of Edinburgh].
@@user-yc8vw3dp1o you need to do the same for the discovery, there’s 8 bolt holes on the roof that the roof rack fits too, but my advice is ditch the bolts it comes with and get a2 weather versions, they haven’t rusted but the black ones that come with the rack have, how cool you are close by, I’m West Lothian 🙋♂️
@@G5MDRMatt i always scout a location out before hand and have quite a few spots saved up, but the app park4night can help you get started, even filter for 4x4 spots to find some out of the way. if you’re in Scotland let me know I’m out regularly, you can follow me on instagram under the same name, cheers 👍
@@k29_lr4 ohh haha I've had park4night for a couple of years had no idea you could filter by 4x4. I am down in Berkshire but heading your way next month for a couple of weeks. Also in a d4, just need to replace my front valve block and I'm good to go. I'll give you a follow on Instagram. Thanks
