The Kofa Wildlife Refuge consists of 665,000 acres of desert wilderness that was originally set aside as a preserve for the Desert Bighorn Sheep that live there. The Kofa Pioneer trail is a 243 mile overland route in the beautiful Sonoran Desert of Southern Arizona.
