Our Overlanding trailer build is almost complete! In this installment we installed the wood, Rotopax gas cans and Mat-trax. Not the mention the storage box inside the trailer. Only a couple of items left and it'll be ready for camping! Don't forget to check the other channels that have inspired us along the way!

@@alaskacutthecord769 I had outfitted my Jeep TJ to allow me to overland. I went out every single weekend during warmer moths and many winter weekends as well. I would take a 2 1/2 week overlanding excursion every summer traveling through 5 to 7 states each time. Staying off the beaten path and exploring any random dirt trail I could find. Really wish I had started RU-vid back then. Oh the things I have seen and the places I have been. Nightmare worthy is how my daughter refers to it, but to me it was always an exciting adventure! I do miss being able to just pick up and go into the wilderness at random. Someday I hope to get a vehicle worthy of such exploration in Alaska. Until then I will live vicariously through your journey! 😉

Lexel is awesome stuff. Highlift jacks are a must, but watch for the lever kick. Not that i have experience with that or anything. LoL.

Adam awesome job on the staple gun. Phyllis 10 points on the magnets they are an upholstery essential. Great job on your camper 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Hey, Adam & Phyllis This the first time commenting on a video posting 9 minutes after being posted. We were just watching Raised in Alaska and your's came up. The Overlanding Trailer is looking great. Nice job on the drawers. 15 days and here we come Alaska. Maybe we can hook up.

Good looking build. Certainly strong looking. I've made my own Rotopax mounts too. Lot better. Not much on trailers as I do some narrow mtn. roads in the Rockies and on you north of you. Hard to turn. But would like a build similar to that in aluminum to put on bed of pickup. Simple is real good. See you next week. Still have Tenere?
@alaskacutthecord769
@alaskacutthecord769 8 месяцев назад
Thank you. It should work pretty well. Planning on taking it on a caribou hunt this fall. We will find out how robust it is at that point I'm sure. See you next week. I sold the Tenere to buy a boat. Hope it was a good decision!
