The inspiration that you draw from the desert (especially UT) is something I believe many of us share.

It’s an incredible place. I’m always amazed at how much is happening in it. You might see a Little Rock formation and get close and see pictographs, or a bunch if of animals or lizards who use it as shelter it’s sneaky like that.

incredible views there, I was there about 3 months ago, so grateful to have gotten to see such a beautiful place. The boulders near spirit arch are gigantic! it was so neat seeing water out there in the middle of nowhere, and the super old wind-blistered trees. I really wanna move out West soon, after seeing out west, nothing compares, I'm from Florida & am sick of the overcrowded southeast. Can't wait take my truck camper out west.

Great Trip, if I couldn't recommended trip, try the Justensen flat area just south of I 70, the overlooks over Red canyon are exceptional, the copper globe mine is cool and if you keep heading south towards cathedral valley you will see some crazy lava formations that look like walls, what ever you do I really appreciate your videos.

My wife and I just ran the Black Dragon trail Monday. Had a great campsite in some cottonwood upon entering and got a great view of the eclipse! If you want to put hair on your chest take Devil's Racetrack. Had a couple pucker moments.

I built a shelf in the back of my JLU, similar to the metal ones but a bit lower. I can put gear on top of the shelf and a little bit under the shelf and it leaves room for me to sleep in the back when I'm by myself. I put my feet in some open space under the shelf. With the bed lower in the back of the jeep I can sit up in the back pretty easily. If someone else comes with me then we have to bring a tent. It's good that you found solitude in that part of the swell, when we were up there it was infested by OHVs everywhere we went.

That shelf sounds great! I’ve loved having mine. It’s improved packing efficiently a ton as I can make so much better use of the space above. When on solo trips I sleep in the Jeep which is still my favorite way to go, but with the crew we have to bust out the tent.
