Jason, I love everything about your van. The 4x4, the color, the high roof, the 270* awning, the stove (need to know where that came from), the wood finish interior. I would replicate what you have in a 2010-2020 Chevy Express Extended with a 4x4 conversion. Kudos and thanks for recording and sharing this and all of your other videos.

Hey Jason....Shelf roads always make the destination more rewarding! You are ready for the mud terrain comments right....lol I had a long section of shelf road recently going up to an alpine lake at 9000' that would have made some great looking content... but I just kept going hoping not to run into someone going the other direction....The reward was I caught an Osprey in flight with fish on video at the lake and for a channel called BirdPhish that's the best content ever lol. If you like you can see the Osprey with Phish in my recent "An Extra Day!" video....

I've got two of those ICECO fridges. Wasn't sure how long they'd last but 2.5 years later and still going strong.

For sure. I REALLY like what we here in the east call "welded half link". I always carry 4 of those and 4 tire cables...no matter the season.

Looks alot like red clay mud in the Appalachian region , greasy and clingy . It can put you in places you didn't intend to go lol .

Yep, very nice to see y’all out on the back roads again. Can you recommend a safe tire pressure for airing down off-road?
@subaruforester5062
@subaruforester5062 9 месяцев назад
When we used to jeep and off camber sections like this we would air down on 2 side more then inflate the tires close to the edge. Helps with staying straight

The only place I have ever had to winch myself out was crossing a dry lake bed along the Oregon Nevada boarder. I was within a few feet of making it out before the rig could not make progress. On a dry lake bed no trees or rocks. I had to bury a spar tire as a dead man.

You should have Donald cut your hair. It could be a jackery test to see how well the clippers work in the battery

Broken gear on overlanding trips always makes me think of the welder kits one can get for trucks and vans in the US.
