Bula! It was a 10-hour direct flight from Singapore to Fiji to explore this Melanesian country at the edge of the world (located at the International Date Line area).
This is my first day in Fiji, where I was exploring a town of Nadi (pronounced as Nan-dee) right after arriving. Nadi is the main gateway to this tropical country, consisting of over 300 islands. It is located on the main island of Viti Levu.
I have explored Namaka neighborhood, admired Sri Siva Subramaniya Swami Hindu Temple (largest in South Pacific and Southern Hemisphere) and visited the town center with a market at Queens Road. I have also managed to catch a sunset at Wailoaloa Beach.
