Mangel Halto was our final stop in Aruba. It is fantastic for snorkeling! It’s very shallow there, so I was worried I’d step on wildlife, but it was so beautiful and well worth the visit!

Thanks for the tips Tina, yes some areas are shallow and others a bit deep. It's a great all around place for snorkeling as you mentioned.

Mangel Halto is perfect for snorkling and diving, did my first ever diving lesson right there, just a beautiful spot!!

On one of our many trips to Aruba, I did try and walk in there 😳 I barely made it 20 feet and a mosquito bit into my face and would not let go 🤣 I ran out of there so fast. He got me right next to my eye. I had a huge bump.

Oh Wow, sorry to hear that. Yes repellent is a must and I did not have during this walk. Some say those mosquitos keep that area safer then any dog(s) ;-)

We always enjoy your videos, as long time subscribers we really miss your walks along the beach, with no talking. Being able to hear the waves, the wind and the people actually makes us feel like we are in Aruba, walking on the beach ourselves instead of you. Hoping you post more 'silent' walk videos soon. There is plenty of parking around the Mangel Halto but no spot to rinse.

Mooie video Hyro!!! En de microfoon is top, je hoort de wind bijna niet. Dit deel van Aruba is onze favoriete stek numero uno!! Het moet niet te populair worden, dan blijft het juist gezellig. Jaren geleden verbleven we wel eens in Seabreeze, lekker op loopafstand van de mooie plekjes die je hebt laten zien. Mangel Halto, een plek om helemaal zen te zijn ...

Hello, not at the Mangel Halto. This showers are mostly available at the hotels at Palm Beach.

I love visiting Mangel Halto during my trips. It really is amazing looking during the day. Will a Pos Chiquito linear park video be in your plans? I always drive by but never got to check it out. Great video as always!!! 👍🏻

Hyro, are you able to visit the barrier islands to show what they offer?? I guess Flamingo beach they may not let you film because "Hotel" reasons... I was interested in the sea floor walking thing on Palm island

hyro i have a question wen you have a car must you pay road tax or is it included in the gasprice?

Hello Rob, yes we pay road tax per year and is in conjunction with changing the license plate every year. So every year a new color. In my case because I have an electric car it's only about $50 but for most (gasoline) cars its around $180. The gas price is heavily taxed too but I'm not sure if they consider that an official road tax.
