Depends on the car and the schroth harness model and how they are fitted. i have schroth harnesses fitted on my track car and will work with the cars airbags so you don't need the HANS
@@981_pdk3 you need hans as long as you are basically locked in the seat by the 6 point harness. in case of any accident your neck will take much bigger hit vs using the traditional 3 point harness. i have clubsport pack for my gt4 but never installed the harness as i do not plan to use HANS.
From what I have heard, toe links are also important as well, since the rear-end can get unsettled under high speed hard braking because of the toe curve of the strut rear suspension
Exactly, you put on yellow pagids and start braking late and the rear is dancing all over the track. Even with stock pads and aggressive breaking you get the same issue. I’d rate that mod as #1.
Wing risers is ridiculous... 🤢 🤣 And in Europe, most of the time, it’s required to have the windows CLOSED ! And small tip : don’t wear a white polo on a white background ;-) From a 718 GT4 Clubsport owner tracked regularly on Spa and Nürburgring
Those risers look bad...there are others that do look much better and don't extend the length that much. On the windows...that may be in Europe but PCA and a lot of tracks this side of the pond do require open windows (both).
Aside from looking ridiculous what are you doing to increase the front downforce to match the (theoretical) increased rear downforce? Porsche GT group spent a lot of time and money to balance the front to rear downforce so how many hours in a wind tunnel have you clocked?
A little subjective. The pros would be the heat capacity and longer wear life. Some guys would rather have cheaper replacements and go with 2-peice giro disc rotors instead.
