See if I lived by you you would wake up and find that thing was stolen, give you something to think about in the future. Man it looks awesome and I’m stuck with pizza .
@@joeljanuary Lol, I really like the Masterbuilt as well. I think the Masterbuilt is a great addition because it has so much more cooking surface. It also has more accessories like the griddle.
That was one big brisket, what a beautiful piece of meat. And great you were able to hold temp overnight as I don't have that down yet on the kamado. And congratulations on the Meater4 - I thought you had the single, was this a Fathers day present? If so, pretty nice gift.
I am trying to learn from my past mistakes. I am learning that the quality of charcoal is important. I didn’t mention but I used Fogo charcoal in this cook. Yes, my lovely wife had bought me the Meater thermometers. This brisket turned out so well. Very tender.
@@GregRocheleau I will look for the Fogo around here, don't think I have seen it. Also, if you can show how the Meater is working while you cook, or how you use it, would be great. I think I mentioned I couldn't justify the cost and a wired unit with 4 probes works fine. It has bluetooth iwth alarms but I find I usually step out of range so I only use it right at the smoker with no bluetooth. Thanks and happy continued Canada Day!
This was the easiest brisket cook I have done and it turned out so tender and amazing. You will love it I’m sure. I didn’t mention in the video but I find the type of charcoal you use matters. Use a good quality hard lump charcoal. I used Fogo brand.
