What would you choose? 😄 Our van, Elton, or the Wild Camper Truck? If you haven't seen the FULL Tour of our Elton - watch it here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-apAsnJgc3c8.html
Hands Down ⭐️ELTON🌟 this truck not my cup of tea, mainly that bed is a coffin to me lol. Happy trails, stay safe, Wales is so beautiful thank you🙏🏻❤️ps. Purchase a couple of those tread/get out of mud tracks, big help for you!!!🧐😎
Definitely the Wild Camper Truck just for the capability to go off-road into the back country and you're not missing much in the comfort department wise.
Crazy to me that such a well built and fancy camper would have a lead acid battery in it. Lifepo4 batteries aren't even expensive anymore. Would definitely swap that out.
That is super cool but agree more a weekend camper than full time although you could make it work if needed. I think a small crawl hatch to the cab would be a good addition just from a safety point for me. Happy travels x
Great to hear you saying the Welsh town names in Cymraeg first. Also brilliant to hear Adriana perfectly pronouncing those Welsh names. Da Iawn Adriana.
That truck screams action movie to me, Rambo, Jean Claude van Damme. he's muscular. 😃Elton is someone who's artistic, loves going to Glastonbury and only likes oat milk latte.
Another fantastic video, i liked the truck van, although I pick yours cause it's more comfortable, be that as it may it could work for a weekend away, the good thing bout this truck van is that you can park in places that Elton cannot. Cheers loved this mini tour
Wow, that's SUCH a cool camper truck!! Perhaps not suitable as a "permanent home", but for a romantic week end off grid.... great! Thank you so much for showing it to us! (PS The in-built shower: perfect!)
3 months ago, I tried the exact same 2023 model Ford Ranger Wildtrack camping vehicle, which is exactly the same structure down to its interior structure, produced by a Turkish company, during a weekend holiday. (The Turkish company Hotomobil Gladiator sells especially well in Scandinavian countries.)
@@2Passports1Dream ahahahh yes, when you write and look more carefully, Gladiator is Turkish Made. But for very narrow weekend getaways or yes, for a long European holiday, to travel between countries (not staying in a hotel somewhere), it is used for practicality purposes, "Gas stations are very good for these vehicles for basic needs". Fiat is really excellent in terms of performance. You should definitely have a partner with you, then the pleasure will be greater. What also caught my attention is that British and Scandinavian tourists (families, children or married) who see this vehicle while on a weekend holiday come easily 10 times and ask questions about the vehicle (practicality, ease of use, price). And I even showed a German and Norwegian couple the inside and out of the car and explained it to them. They took photos, etc., and gave the name of the company... And Ford Ranger Wild Track is a very suitable brand...
How would you get out of the camper body if someone lifted the tailgate during the night? It looks like you’d be trapped inside as the door opens outwards.
This is lovely.. But, I have a question, why are long bed trucks not used for this? I think you'd get a little more space. Also, maybe a truck that doesn't have a passenger seat, that too will add to the space. I also feel, even with this, there could be a short simple mechanism that allows the roof extend up a bit, maybe even by 10cm or 20cm, that will aid with head room even more. These are just my thoughts cause I feel, if I am going camping, I'd prefer to have the option of doing everything inside. And only step out if I need to go out.
I've heard you mention in a few videos about your lack of oven. I've been using a Coleman Camp Oven for over a year in my caravan. It's not the biggest but it definitely works well. Just a thought
Not seen that style of campervan in the UK before it is a great idea, sadly there's companies in Korea who build campervans on the long wheelbase Ssangyong Musso both double and single cab they get the vehicles minus the load bed and stick a proper camper body on it looking at some Korean RU-vid videos I would buy one the single cab has a crawl through into the living area shower/bathroom full size bed above the cab seating at the rear converts into another bed kitchen comes with an electric oven fridge freezer (full height) sink and a small dishwasher (double cab has a small washing machine by the door and no crawl through). Like the Ford comes with 2.2ltr six speed gearbox 18 inch all terrain tyres (20 optional) but you don't have to purchase ramps to level the vehicle it comes with hydraulic rams underneath. Ssangyong (now KGM) sadly will not import any after the failure of a conversion done on their now discontinued seven seat people carrier but a lot of people have said to me they would purchase one instead of a standard campervan due to being able to more go places, Apparently the Koreans love them off grid camping is a big thing out there.
Ok I'm a fisherman, looking to get a camper truck for my on the beach adventures! I mean I'm sorts in love :)) Been looking for a couple of years. That top looks so much like my old GI - Joe setup! I LOVE IT! How do I go> Can these be ordered or have any models in the USA? Can you make them longer for a 6 feet 7 inch pickup?
Apparently there are models in the USA! This particular one is from Turkey - but we’ve been told that there are bigger versions in the states (apparently this one is very small in comparison haha) but unfortunately we don’t know exacrly where!!
Hello Quick question The gentleman in this video at first I thought maybe he was Polish but then I kept hearing a north Walian twang (I’m Welsh) and towards the end all I heard was the Welsh accent, so where are you from? I’m assuming you were originally from Europe but settled in north wales! I loved this video, you’re both great!
Haha he’s born and bred in north wales! Porthmadog to be exact!! I think the slight European twang may have been picked up from spending time with me (I’m fully Swedish) 😄😄
@@2Passports1Dream ahhhhhh okay this makes sense 😂 if he’s from Porthmadog he’d definitely understand “dwi’n ymddiheuro am meddwl dy fod di o wlad pwyl 😬😂” also I thought you were Irish 😬😬 your English is very good! I just stumbled across the channel! But I enjoyed the video!
Very nice for a getaway, not full time living though, especially for a couple. Maybe fine for one person and a dog. Also, I'm guess adrianna was eating a meatless sausage sandwich?
Great video. That looks so tiny compared to the truck campers over here in America! I guess if that Ranger is considered big and “badass” an F-150 would be enormous. It makes sense though, the roads are smaller, much narrower in Europe than here. Many people camp in SUV and live full time in vans they cannot stand up in here as well so there’s an option for everyone.
@2Passports1Dream Going by from your previous videos. There seems to be a lot of problems with Elton. And you guys seemed stressed! But to be honest this campervan seems more for you! 👍
@@Hongstar888they’ve never lived in something like Elton, so there IS adjustments to be made as well as realizing getting used to its quirks and any issues are stressful in the moment if you’re in a hurry and a breakdown of something(which happens) they can purchase whatever necessary to make their travels easier. In my book, Elton is well appointed for a home build! Just sayin🙏🏻🤨🤔❤️
@@2Passports1Dream the truck has a demountable camper on the back. I was wondering who makes them? There are several brands like suntrekker, geocamper, northstar... I haven't seen this one before.
Hi guys. Loving yr videos. Do u have a funding page to receive donations. E.g. PayPal ( I’m old school but I’m sure there’s better options, either way I’m keen to donate a bit of coin for fuel or a decent meal out at a local pub on yr journey. I’m sure a few other subscribers to yr channel would also like to donate, you could even do videos of yr dinner treats at the local pubs on the journey. 🤔
@@2Passports1Dream Sent u guys nz$50 not sure what that is in pounds but that should get u guys at least fish and chips on a Wales beach 🤗🤗 you could add this treat (fish and chips) into one of yr next videos. It would be so cool to see you guys trying a new pub or cafe at EACH town you visit, possibly sponsored by a subscriber. Loved the lunch adventure a few videos back where you were attacked by wasps 😱 p.s also going forward PayPal’s fees were 10%, thinking there’s got to be a better funding program out there. In summary I’m keen to donate again as you travel through Europe, dinning at places I can only dream about from New Zealand. E.g. coffee and croissant under the Eiffel Tower (when u get to Paris) I have heard coffee in Paris is now E$9 😢 and we all know Adriana loves her coffee ☕️ 🤗 oh my, now theres a thought, a fund me page to fund Adriana daily coffee addiction as you travel Europe 🤔🤔🤔🤔 anyways look forward to the next video. ( if other subscribers to the channel agree with my thoughts, hit that like button and let’s get some momentum on the coffee fund 💰
@user-ds2hc2lf2m that’s incredible!! Thank you so so much 😍🤗 Fish and chips are 100% on the cards!! 😍😍 Thank you! Ahah you know us too well, that coffee addiction is so real and it’s one that will stay strong! We will look into it - 10% isn’t great for a fee Hmm…! Thank you again 😍
Definitely not shitting in nature, there is a toilet. Also, the shower 'gel' is eco friendly so it won't harm nature. Realistically, it's not a vehicle where you're expecting to be having showers like you would in a proper bathroom.
Please be careful driving that thing. Trucks are insanely dangerous for everyone that’s not sitting in one as well as they are so tall and high of the ground.
