Tre Cime di Lavaredo, or Drei Zinnen in German, is definitely one of the most popular mountain ranges in the Dolomites Mountains of Italy, and probably one of the most impressive rock formations in the Alps.
I've hiked and protographer this area so many times and I always wondered how it would be like to be on top, so in this adventure I climbed to the top of Cima Grande di Lavaredo with Edoardo, and we bivouaked overnight in our bivybags after staring at an incredible sunset and an amazing landscape lit up by the moon!
The night has been quite cold (a little bit below 0°C) but we still had some good rest.
What a great adventure!

@@RobJorg people somehow believe that if you are doing any serious landscape photography you have to use tripod😅 I tried to use it, took it on mountain hikes and bike packing trips but now I think that it is more often disturbing than helpful for my so I use it only if I really have to. Usually I really don’t see much of a difference in image quality up to ISO 1600

"I'm not a climber"! I'd dispute that Bruno. Not many non-climbers would dare to do that route carrying your heavy pack. Respect to you dude! I've been in the area a few times and gazed up in awe at the Tre Cime di Lavaredo. I'm jealous. Video wise, what can I say that I or others haven't said before. Excellent! The Van looks ready for a tour, or is it still in progress behind the camera? Stay safe Bruno.

Well Bruno, after seeing all the chunks of rock that have fallen off the mountain, EVERY SINGLE TIME you put your hand on a rock on the way up, my stomach turned over. Then I realized that if you posted this, you did NOT go bouncing down the mountain to your doom..... following you, I now see why climbers love the Dolomites.... they are crazy nasty climbs!!! Wow!! Your drone videos are just SO fantastic! You truly have made this into an adventure channel.... I hope to see many more videos in the future. They always make me smile!

I had to stop watching your videos because I get a big knot in my stomach the whole time. But I had to try it again. I don't understand how people have the courage to do these climbs even if skilled. I do think Alex Honnold is just crazy.

Questo video me l’ero perso, fortuna che oggi l’ho rintracciato, e’ il resoconto stupefacente di un’impresa straordinaria, che supera per difficoltà e fascino quella del Pelmo (cengia di Ball, bivacco in tenda sulla cima, il tutto con un sacco di varie decine di chili!) che avevo finora classificato al primo posto. Le vedute sia durante la scalata che dalla cima sono emozionanti per la loro bellezza. Che altro dire….Complimenti e ad maiora!

Wow! I really enjoy your movies and this one brought lots of memories. I also slept on top on the Cima grande ( like 40 years ago) but with no sleeping gear and only wearing a pullover after climbing the north face and it ws the coldest night of my life...
