@@mayaahmed1095 Remarkably well! I kinda flattened my hair at the top one time, but that's just me needing practice. I sleep just fine with all the extra bulk on my head, and wake up with my hair almost perfectly ready to go and just damp enough for a little bit of tweaking and then some quick extra drying!

i tried this and my scalp was too itchy the next day, then again i have sebbhoric dermatitis (idk how to spell it). so maybe leaving it wet on my scalp all night was a dumb idea but it was good for me to try LOL, my curls looked great though but my scalp was too irritated

Thank you for this video! Although your hair is way more curly, I was wondering if you have any tips for wavier hair? I have very loose curls that tend to lose shape and then become waves after a day or so, so I’m not sure how to keep it looking curly, but I want to take care of it more
I wet plopped my hair for years with a t shirt and I neverrrr thought about using a long sleeve shirt 😆 would've been so much easier!! I'm gonna try the shower cap tonight! I have a silk lined shower cap, hopefully I don't ruin it 😬 🤞🏼

Thank you so much! Shedding is not something I deal with besides the normal amount of shed from washing and brushing so I wouldn’t have much to say about it 😏 maybe in a future video I can go over different ways to detangle that cause less shedding but that’s really it!

do sleeping with a wet head ruin your pillow? I used to do this as a teen and my pillow smelled musty after a while. Does anyone use a special pillow or special pillow case or covering?

I think that would be fine seeing as people generally wet there hair to refresh it. I did that during quarantine as well and wetting and brushing my hair didn’t make a negative difference if that makes sense

Hey so I have an issue where the top of my head is completely curly and the bottom is flat. No matter what I do it won't curl. What can I do besides perm?
Have you tried finger cooling the flat sections? I have that problem too but I tried coiling those curls and it really helped. Also you could try a Denman brush but those are slightly spendy.
