Overpaying For Train Tickets In Laos 🇱🇦 

We stayed in a hotel in Luang Prabang for around $25 per night! We will try to find a cheaper one soon in Vietnam ☺️

Yeah I get it now! The bit that confused me was having to click the switch in before it would let you turn it. Lesson learned 😊

Hello Boungnaseng! I tried to buy with the LCR app but I needed a Laos number. I bought a SIM card but even then, when I tried to register the account it wouldn’t receive the text message to verify my phone number. I found a way around this using a website that lets you verify using their site, but then my payment method wouldn’t work! It only seemed to accept Lao payment methods 🤔 In the end we used 12.go but in future I would try to get a local to help me buy tickets, or go to the station (or see if the app is working!)
