The Wanderer rerun has been out, yet unfortunately players have been reporting that the wanderer is too weak. Players can't even use him to clear floor 12 of the abyss! So to help this problem, and allow you to have the most success with the wanderer, I'm going to share some of the best teams you can play the wanderer in. The teams I'll share will be hypercarry teams and reaction teams. I hope you enjoy and hopefully these teams help your wanderer become stronger!

Another note. Wanderer feels weak at low investment(bad artifacts), he get significantly better as you get better artifacts for him. With a decent build wanderer is super fun and strong

That is true, though I assume people have good artifacts on him since if people do claim he's weak, yet they have bad artifacts, then its clear artifacts are the main problem

thts not the case thing is without Faruzan Wanderer feels very mid n u need C6 Faruzan which is very annoying n less user friendly

@@Ryõsuke95honestly I played Wanderer since first release and just got Faruzan C6, it's a great buff don't get me wrong, but I was still hitting 25k to 32k autos just with Bennett Yunjin and Zhongli so she doesn't feel as necessary as people think imo

My wanderer at lvl 60 has 1320 atk and 98.8% crit rate & 91.2 crit damage is that good at the moment ? Since i mostly gave him randoma artefacts that had the highest crit and atk stats

Great video. Some new teams to try. Mostly been doing variances of wanderer hyper. Going to try the burgeon team and tazer variant. I found layla, faruzan, xq freeze comp fun and kept wanderer as main dps.

It can be good to cast burst before E so you get all the buffs to frontload the damage on enemies that'll die before you'd burst otherwise

I just got wanderer a few days ago and still in the process of building him. Currently just at 60/60 of him with all lv4 talents with temporary 2pc vv 2pc shimenawa. And I'm having so much fun using him during commissions and world explorations

I was originally going to skip this banner, but so glad I didn’t. I wanted to save for Zhongli and already had enough teams for spiral, so I didn’t need another dps. Then I remembered he can fly and here we are. No regrets. Excellent for traversing the world and mine was actually really easy to build. I am still not to the point of farming his artifacts yet. I just used some random spare artifacts with crit stats and he’s still pretty good. I just used him on a team of Kuki, Xiangu, and Nahida. Those myself I feel the damage is unrelated to Wanderers, so I want to focus on boosting him more. So I am making a team with Farizan, Bennett, and Thoma. Double pyro for the damage boost + style points cuz I just love Thomas design. Finally I have an excuse to use him now. Idk what the point of this was, it’s just 2:30am and I feel like sharing 🙃

He's so fun to play, he might not be the best DPS at C0, but his kit and playstyle doesn't bore me. I've been using him for almost 3 months and hes still fun to play. Got Neuvi and Wrio but nothing can stop me playing that darn brat!! Still dont have C6 Faruzan, i only have C1, but hes damage is still good with Bennett, Yelan and Layla(dont have Zhongli cause i pulled for Yelan, and dont want that broken resistance). I might pull for Zhongli next time tho since his Elemental Resistance Shred is nice for many characters.

I use wanderer with bennet, kazuha and xinque, doing 41k charged attacks, with a ratio of 55%/250% crit on wanderer with the widsith. I don't have Zhongli and I have a C0 Faruzan, but I recently just got Furina, Idk what team comp I should do with Furina and Wanderer

My favorite team is Wanderer, Faruzan (emblem), Kokomi (tenacity with ttds), and Layla (noblesse+fav sword) especially for exploration, I don't have to worry about my health and energy 😆

Another note Thoma and Layla are better for the wanderer than zhongli. The better your artifacts the more cracked the wanderer becomes. And your pulling for cons either you go c2/c3 or you go c6 as wanderer c6 is a 75% damage increase from his c0

For the melt team, I don't have Rosaria leveled up. Do you have a suggestion for alternate? I would use Hypercarry, but I don't know if C1 Faruzan would work.

C1 faruzan can definitely work for the 1st team. Anyhow I'd recommend levelling rosaria since there's really no one else that can replace her

My team's build is pretty unusual here coz im using Noblesse to Xingqiu with 220 ER, Tenacity Layla and VV C3 Faruzan. I also tried using 4pc Blizzard Strayer on Wanderer. Decent dmg but I prefer DPC more. I also tried an aggravate team for fun: - Miko - Baizhu - Faruzan - Wanderer You can use Fischl, Dori, Kuki or Beidou instead of Miko (I don't have Fischl that's why I use Miko). And you can also replace Baizhu with Yaoyao or Kirara. Just a weird team to challenge yourself in the abyss :))

There one team i used that is attk speed team. Credict to a youtuber i randomly found (forgot the name). Consist of wanderer, faruzan, mika and yun jin. Wanderer - damage dealer Faruzan - buff anemo dmg Mika - buff attk speed and healer Yunjin - buff NA damage This team can be further improved by having c6 faruzan (more damage buff) and c6 yunjin (12% attk speed). If ur mika have talent lvl 8 (20%) attk speed buff, yunjin c6 and wanderer with pavillion it will be 42% attk speed bonus. Artifacts Wanderer - 4pc pavilion (c6, 4pc echoes) Faruzan - 4pc emblem (c6, 4pc tenacity +20%atk) - favonious bow Mika - 4pc noblesse - favonious lance Yunjin - 4pc husk - favonious lance This team carried me in the abyss, just recently got c6 wanderer and this hit so hard (saved since 3.0 and pulled 2 times in wanderer banner to got this) Edit: My wanderer use skyward atlas. Imo, skyward atlas provide more consistent damage than lost prayers

I play wanderer layla xingqiu but im choosing between c1 faruzan or my c6 jean. Jean feels more comfy and gives 40% shred, atk speed, and deals dmg since i crowned her after c6 while faruzan is a bit clunky but has bigger buffs. Which should i choose?

technically faruzan would make the wanderer deal more dmg because she gives anemo dmg bonus, so if you're going for dmg than go with her. But if you want to go for better survivability and support, definitely go for jean. I have her at c4 and she supports the wanderer really well with her healing, ontop of all the other really useful buff you mentioned. All enemies would also receive the anemo shred, if enemies are frozen in her burst which I'm sure they will be. When I pair wanderer and jean together I often have trouble getting all enemies in jeans burst for the shred, but that's a smart way to do it. I'll definitely be trying a freeze team with wanderer and jean.

@@jjjackal1110 omg I'll definitely watch if that video comes up. No one really gives feedback abt this team since its only viable if your jean is minimum c4 so I have a hard time comparing my options. I did not choose to have a c6 jean😭 smh.

ah sorry to hear that. If you do like him tho I'd say go get him since you can use other supports aside from faruzan. Though she is great with him, bennett is amazing for him and you can use yun jin

i like the sound of the last team cause i dot have albedo c1 (who is currently lvl 70) and Blue Hair bookworm (lvl 60) , though my fschl isnt build at all so i wanted to ask if there can be any other electro character there like kuki for emergency healing or something since in the abyss (for exsample) you cant use healing items or is there a specific reason why fschl was shown in that team comb ?

the main reason fischl is used is because she gives a lot of energy particles for biedou, which makes the team much stronger and bearable to play. And cause she deals high off field dmg. She's a simple and strong character that you can throw into any team and she'll help you out in some useful ways. So I would recommend that you build her because she can be so useful, even though shes not the most fun since you're pretty much just using her for oz. Kuki can be a substitute, though not a great one since she doesn't do the good things fischl does, and of the new things she brings to the team, her healing, that also isn't really good. In that team there isn't much use for healing because of beidou and xingiu's interruption resistance and shielding. So healing isn't really needed, thus kuki isn't of much use in that team. If you still prefer a little extra support then sure I can see whyd you use kuki, but overall fischl is the better option for that team

I was fortunate enough to get his c6 on the first banner and r5 on the second banner. It’s really unusual for me to whale to that extent. But now I use him in every spiral abyss, usually with faruzan, jean, and zhongli or layla. I love playing him, no regrets.

@@jadmurr7883 I’m honestly surprised by how much i like layla! Her skill/burst have almost 100% uptime and her shield is the strongest we have in a four star. I would give her a try since you already have her!

@@jadmurr7883 and with layla you have a chance to always swirl cryo with wanderer, which gives a lot of bonus crit rate. She’s pretty worth the investment imo!

it's better to keep bennett with xiangling since she needs him more than tighnari. Instead of bennett try to use yao yao with 4 deepwood, fischl, yae miko, or another sub dps

if the wanderers c2 then yes, it'll deal more dmg near the end of his skill. If he's not c2 then no there's no difference.

The freeze team you mentioned is so bad and it shows cause its needs more than 100 sec to clear in footage , people overestimate yelan and xingqiu way to much , outside of single target they are meh , best freeze wanderer team is by far wanderer faruzan layla and mona

I'd try that team you mentioned but unfortunately, I don't have mona. For the freeze team and 100s, you're right that out of single target they're not great, but Id say that chamber I played them in wasn't a chamber that fit well with the team. Grouping is something really useful in that chamber, but the team lacks that. Particualrly for the first enemies that show, they're pretty far apart and are annoying to group together

@@jjjackal1110 Right now my wanderer team is a freeze comp consisting of wanderer farzuan xixgui and Layla Farzuan is c1 with fav bow and wanderer is using eye of perception right now with 4pc shimenwa like I need advice or any help to improve their damage output highest damage so far is like a 25k charged attack you got any advice or can you help?

@@deepawoken8330 Right of the bat you could continue to farm shimenawa pieces so the wanderer has more crit rate and damage. Maybe even farm 4 pavilion so the wanderer can use his burst for some extra damage. Also, remember to use the 2 normal attacks + charged attack pattern for the wanderer. For layla, its a good idea to get her 4 tenacity of the mileleth, this will buff the wanderers damage. If you go for 4 tenacity, give layla either triple hp%, or 2 hp% and a crit rate circlet. It'd also be good to give the wanderer a new weapon, do you have any other catalysts than the eye of perception?

haha. On one showcase while explaining how good the team was you were already on 2 min abyss run. Chamber 1. Thats not a good sign XDDD As I've got C6 Faru he kicks ass as one of the best but before - yeah just spare yourself and your sanity and go play hyperbloom kuki or someting.
