If you think you go to movies to get entertained, then Vijay is a hero of your type. Believe me Vijay is one of the best entertainers in this whole nation where most no of movies are produced per year. Reality cinema or entertainment cinema both are based on real life emotions like romance, humour, anger and sentiments. There are few things like dance and fights added for masses to enjoy the unbelievable on screen. Vijay is one of the very few actors who can perform all the above techniques with ease. He is choreographers delight when it comes to dance and fight. His love movies are more popular at a time when he caught family audiences hearts with his cute expressions. (Sachien movie is my personal favorite). His mass movies specially Ghilli is where he turned all his audiences to his fans. In this movie, he excell in humour than any comedian in the whole damn industry. Here his comedy scenes are clapped and laughed and the very next scene would be a mass action scene which would be whistled and enjoyed by the whole theatre. This is a very tough act. This is why I say to pull such a thing he should be a one hell of performer in his region. This overrated tag got stiched to him because of the choices he made lately with his movies. A kind of montonious feel was there in his movies after Pokkiri. This changed after Kavalan( Really he was pushed to give a different kind of movie even by his fans) . Then came Thuppakki , a movie answered people who questioned his stylish looks , swag and collection capablity. For those critics, he answered with a movie Kaththi. Those 20 mins of Jeevanantham in flashback is a example for what quality of a actor he is in reality cinema. His dialogue delivery, the way he pulled up the climax scene. Your goosebumps are answer to it. After all his early failures and criticisms, he proved as a entertainer in the movie Poove unakaga itself. He has groomed a lot from that but has he tried out of that boundary he created in that movie is a big question mark?? But for those people who think everything he does is easy. The answer is big NO. Think of other actors doing these.. You cant. That is VIJAY.
