Federal employees already have a ton of other benefits that everyday American workers don’t have so why should they have to pay more even taxes to give even more benefits to federal employees? There is so many other things that time could be spent on that are so much more important.

They get more paid leave the the average American I have kids my maturity leave was only 6 WEEKS, I guess my family isn't important enough to have that time off to take care of a new born. But they get 12 week plus all the other paid time off..

When I was in the military my wife had become ill and after i had been denied retention because I demanded to attend to her, within only a few years, she passed away due to her illness at the age of 39. Not only did my service refuse to acknowledge my plight but my choice to attend to her, given the outcome was the right choice. This bill could relieve a bit of incomprehensible anguish or even save a life as may have suited my situation. 17 year veteran.. !
