This demo video is what sold me on ordering one (also in black)... as everyone knows the wait time is quite long, I watched this video in May of 2023 and literally just received mine in June of 2024. Returning here as a reminder of what it can do - worth the wait I think! Excited to rack it up :)
aaaaaaaand this is the video that sold me. about a year ago i was looking into adding something to ‘color’ sounds (i know that’s putting what this box can do lightly) and had zeroed in on the SSL Fusion. i eventually pulled back after trying a friend’s unit out. this is exactly what i was hoping that unit would be. i chop samples and build all of my own drums from records or playing them myself. this can add so much character to those sounds…which are great in their own right. bravo and thank you for the demo!
Great demo. So killer, this box. I love mine for complete sickness like this and even subtle mojo. I use it in mixing, mastering, sound design. It is BANANAS! Best box ever.

In this video, and pretty much all of the time, I’m using the line in/outs to my patchbay and then as an external audio effect in Ableton. Hope that helps!
I love how this all sounds. However, when I’ve played with one, I’ve found the routing to be confusing AF! I’m never quite sure what I’m doing and because it can go into self oscillation, you have to be so careful with just tinkering around…you can blow your eardrums if you play with the wrong knob!
Could you give me a hint of how did you do that 10:50 synth sound? Is it a sub with noise on it so that noise "catches" distortion? Great video and also amazing music btw!
Both the MC and the Distressor will add some punch I’d say, both having or being compressors…two different animals in my opinion though. The MC has way more features and capable of a lot more options.
