@@Uno_Floydd I have a fact - I'm definitely not the pinnacle lol On a more serious note, Max more likely than not is the pinnacle. I don't follow F1 a lot, but the bottom split of F1 probably isn't, there are probably better drivers in other categories than them.
Yes james baldwin is rapid but he spends all his time in sim racing while max does it for fun yet max is almost as quick as baldwin and not having the same hours
@@danielo7985yeah thats team redline all together, but max is really good but compared to james he doesnt play that much so it is james baldwins domain
@@thechode7394 yes than tell me if you could beat his lap times in rFactor. :D Tell it to SRO why they are not using iracing or rfactor for gt3 series? :D
@@D3C-TH3_F4LL3N i thought maybe he meant it lol, I do use gloves for grip and overall comfort but I was confused when he said it’s actually an advantage 😂 my bad
@@tinest6485 😂 there is the possibility that it could help gain some time on specific turns, but who knows lol . Maybe you should see if you get the same time without gloves
Notice how Max tenses up his neck in anticipation for the G forces during cornering because its become his second nature from real racing. A stark contrast to his opponent who is completely relaxed.
Max is such a fricking great driver, he can drive as fast as top level sim racers, without even being one and not dedicating that much time to sim racing. I konw Im saying the obvious, but I feel like this doesn't get talked about enough. And I know too that yes Max drives sims since he was a teenager, but what I mean is that he has his main job obviously, and even then can compete with guys that dedicate their day to being fast on the sim
@@woofy9977 I don't doubt it. Unfortunately there are some people out there that can't bare the thought of someone being better than their beloved Lewis Hamilton. Don't understand how can thid people, even after all Max has done is his career not consider him one of the best to ever live
@Bernardo Berner I am a Lewis fand but I actually agree. Being a F1 driver doesn't necessarily mean being great in sim racing. He must be very good to master both. Anyone who doesn't recognize Max is a great driver and maybe one of the GOATs with Lewis, Schumacher and Senna, is just too bitter to admit it. However what I and a lot of people dislike about him is his attitude and dirty tactics. Whenever it gets tough he is almost never fair. If he is winning by a mile then he learned to become clean. But when he is pressed, then I pass or we crash. You can clearly see in this video he was going too deep even when James was side by side. Listen to the commentators saying there was enough overlap. But he still left no space on the outside. The message was clear : you yield or we crash. What was brilliant is James read him very accurately and prepared the cut back just in time. The fact Max was on the grass just proves he had no intention of leaving any space. Also his behavior with Checo was disgusting.
Yeah he’s been doing sim racing (quite a bit with lando) for years and was even doing it last year during the last few races when he got the chance. Just wants to enjoy himself and I have to respect that
Imagine overtaking Max Verstappen in a sim race - the thrill must be unreal! This is why sim racing is the future of motorsports, bridging the gap between virtual and real-life champions!
This is all fun and games anyway, everyone’s rigs and force feedbacks are setup differently, max probably has his set to something that feels realistic when others turn it down, but it’s all for fun anyway.
Wow this video is eye opening. I never realized I am so similar to the one and only max verstappen. We are basically cut from the same cloth. We both need glasses :/
This guy like “ this is success”. Max like “not even the summer break and I’ve already wrapped up the title and by myself have more points than both merc drivers combined”. Feel good now peasant
