Yep. I waited in line two and a half hours in the primary to vote for Bernie Sanders, wearing my Democratic Socialist T-shirt. When I got to the front, the elderly woman "volunteering" (and I later volunteered myself) had some official paperwork/ID reason that I had to return the next day, even though I was in line long before they closed and the state did away with the ID requirement years ago. The 1% runs this country, both sides, top to bottom. Unless we can pass campaing finance reform like the UK did and open the door to real political competition and freedom of political speech by going over corrupt Congress and passing an amendment with at least 2/3 of the states (and almost everyone outside the top 1% wants this), our country is functionally a corpse we keep letting our own plutocrats kick around.
