I was just about to comment this! OMG! Her natural hair is freakin’ GORGEOUS!!!! I’d never touch my hair if it looked like this! I totally get why she waited so long before doing anything to it! 😂
My hair is exactly your hair color too! Most people don’t believe mine is real 🙄 I’ve never seen someone else with it. Usually peoples are more ginger than auburn. Your beautiful!
@@AH-ph3cb same except it still had a hella orange tint to it in the light or sun. Mine was mostly from living in the country for 13 years and we had well water which rlly mucks up the color in your hair due to all the minerals and stuff in it. Well water is hella harsh too since it's all natural with no additives like city water and we hardly got water softener too. There's a lot of stuff that can muck up natural red hair. I even heard pollution can cause dirty reddish brown in redheads and it suuucks
Hi everyone! This video has blown up in the last couple of months and I'm so excited to see that so many of you are loving it! I've also recently tried out Overtone's Extreme Magenta and filmed a video of the process + answered some general Q&A's about my experience! Here's the link if you want to check it out: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kBnOz7b7Nzc.html
I have a similar colour to your natural hair and I’ve tried soooo many products trying to make it more vibrant, I love seeing a another redhead test out these products for once!
if you find anything that works like this please lmk! overtone isnt in the Uk im so sad! i just want mine to be more vibrant and dyes never look nice on me:(
YOU LOOK STUNNING! to be honest you look beautiful before and after, the after colour looks more like my natural hair colour :D I love seeing fellow redheads embracing their hair colour and enhancing it ^-^!!!!
Thank you south for this video! My hair was naturally the brighter red of your "dyed" color until my mid 20s when it really browned out. Now it is very similar to your natural color and I've always yearned for the fire red of my youth! I'm totally trying this product. Thank you so much for your review!
I have dark auburn hair just like you and I’ve been curious about using overtone to enhance and brighten my red hair. Thank you for doing this because I’ve always wanted to do something but like you said, there isn’t a lot of information or other people showing what overtone doesn’t to redheads!
I'm so glad that you found it helpful! 🥰 I also always struggle to find other redheads on RU-vid, especially for specific things like this, so I'm so happy to hear you say that because its one of the main reasons I wanted to start making videos. 🤗
I have red hair as well dyed my hair for the first time with overtone a year ago, went with the extreme purple and loved it!!! Was so freeing since we are always told to leave our hair alone Loved the video excited for more :)
Welllll it sucks in the growing out stage, because you cant just dye it back to your natural haircolor, and it sucks until you can grow it out enough to either chop it off, turn it into an obré or dye it a color close enough to your hair which is so hard.
My hair is the exact description you provided, and looks just like yours in this video, depending how much light hits it, how red it will look. I’ve never considered myself to be a redhead because I’m not ginger or a strong auburn, but I’ve always wanted to be one, so hearing you say I’m a redhead when we share the same colour made me really happy 🥰
OMG! First I want to say your hair is absolutely gorgeous! Secondly, I think we have very similar hair color. I used to be more Auburn orange/red, and lately its been looking more auburn brown so ive been researching overtone and trying to see what my hair could look like. I have never dyed my hair before either so it was so nice seeing your journey!
Fellow natural red head here, mine is darker like yours. And I love watching other gingers try out products. Thank you for the video. Your hair is stunning!
I've been wanting to dye my hair more copper/ginger my entire life! I have light brown hair that has a ton of warm tones in it. It looks reddish auburn in the sun already like your hair but more darker brown than yours. Anyways, this video got me so excited! I've been thinking about dying my hair for the first time for my upcoming birthday, but I really didn't want to have to lighten it or deal with the stress of picking a salon to go to. This seems way less harsh as I really wanted to avoid damaging my hair. But the naturalness & longevity that it gives seems like exactly what I'm looking for! I can't thank you enough for this video! As someone extremely inexperienced with hair dye, you definitely showed how beginner friendly & easy this product is to use! I think I've finally found what I'm looking for & can finally get my dream hair color! If you haven't already, can you please do a video on the upkeep of your color & how you maintain it with the products you use? Or also show/discuss how often you use overtone to touch up? I'd really appreciate it!!! Much love! 🧡🧡🧡
Yes ! Looks gorgeous! Ima try it ! Thank you ! I used to do this same thing, different products. The one I used are now discontinued. So I’ll try this . I always enjoy the smoothness of enhancing my natural red .
Thank you for making this video, I’ve been having such a hard time find natural redhead’s who have enhanced their red w/ overtone or even henna. I love the more coppery red also, I have some naturally but I want more lol. I’m strawberry blonde and seeing how it came out on your beautiful Auburn hair definitely helped me chose the correct shade for my hair 🥰🥰 Thank you!!
OMG finally, my hair color is so so similar to your hair color. I have been looking for a youtuber who has the same color and I have been so scared to do anything with my hair other than cut it. Love the product review so helpful for me.
Your hair looks amazing ! I’m definitely giving Overtone a try, I’m going through a hair massacre right now... I got highlights a couple of days ago and they were wait to blond so I re dyed myself and now is way to dark Lol... Rrrrr!
Both colors (before and after) is so lovely! Thanks for doing this, I am a more auburn colored natural redhead too. I have been looking for a way to enhance the color since it's getting more dull with age, so this was helpful to see someone do this with similar hair! Thanks!
I’d give anything to have your natural hair color and texture! Sooo pretty!! Also giiirl you look 10 years younger without makeup! Loved both looks though!
Thank you for posting this! I have your same natural color of red, but as I have been getting older my hair has been getting darker and not looking as red anymore. I have been searching for months for a product that can brighten up my red hair again, but there’s such few natural red heads to have as a reference. Thank you!
I‘m so glad I just found your video. My hair is like a natural ginger but not 100% so it was just like yours before. I wanted to enhance the natural reddish undertone and used a copper washout, that should stay 4-10 washes. Now it’s dark outside and my hair is still a bit wet but I can’t wait to see it tomorrow morning in the sun light. Thanks again for this video, I’m so happy I did this change and tried hair dye for the first time of my life. I believe this will makes me feel more confident and I can’t wait to see how it looks with different outfits and make up. Love from Germany ❤️
OOOOOOOOOOO the outcome is STUNNING! I'm a light blonde, but I want to go red and this might be the color I'm aiming for. It looks gorgeous on you. I've never dyed my hair before so I'm a little nervous haha but I've always loved red hair
i don’t recommend this product for you since your hair is very light maybe if you do use this mix with a lot of conditioner because i used this product with my blonde hair & it came out like super bright orange almost neon it was horrible. because this product is mainly for people who have dark hair & don’t want to bleach it to color it. sorry just wanted to lyk so your hair doesn’t turn out like mine did in the past
Hey girl love the video. So I am a stylist in a salon and we do sell colour conditioners like this and I know the feeling you're talking about. Try putting actual conditioner on your hair after rinsing out the colour conditioner, it might help soften your hair a bit
Hey, thanks for watching! I’m glad you enjoyed the video 🤗 I actually did wash and condition my hair using my normal sulfate-free products afterwards, but then once I used a shampoo that had sulfates and was able to properly breakdown the silicones in the Overtone Conditioner, it returned to my normal texture. 🤗
It looks sooooo nice! So jealous. Can you do a make up tutorial to the look you're wearing in this video? I wonder what products you used. Looks so prettiii
I’m also a redhead and I’ve never found anyone with my hair color. My hair used to be orange but now it’s like what yours is more auburn and I want it back but wasn’t sure how to get it or how it would turn out on my hair because everyone has either blonde or brown/black hair dying it ginger 😭 so thank you 🥺
Wow THANK YOU so much for this girl I feel like u made this video just for me 😭 we have the same natural color & the same goal😳I LOVE THE RESULT!!!! Thank u again I rlly needed to see this now IIMA TRY 😁 it turned out sooooo good 🥺🧡you look so gorgeous
I'm a natural red head. I always had auburn hair, but then I had chemotherapy and lost it. Now it has grown back, although it is still in auburn family, it is definitely more brown than red. I didn't like it, it wasn't me. So I tried so many red hair dyes. You can see form my profile pic, some of the kinds of reds it tried. I then got bored of the upkeep, so decided to go natural, and have been for several years now. I'm now getting grey at the temples (I'm nearly 40) so I have decided to dye my hair again, but going to try kore natural reds like coppers. Xx
Your facial features in some ways remind me of Max from stranger things! Especially now with the more ginger red hair colour! Looks fantastic. You're natural colour was wicked cool too. Cheers from another Auburn fellow myself! Great video.
Love your hair before and after with the Overtone.Been looking for ideas on how to refresh, make my natural red hair vibrant again,my color is like yours so hard to find anybody doing stuff like this.Been wanting to try Overtone, watching this video over and over again to give me courage to try some samples to see and even try "Extreme Orange", scares me the thought of that color even though I'm pretty sure after seeing yours it will work.A little scared mine might turn out I found it for you Its the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown instead of a pretty natural color would be my luck 😄
I watched it like 10 times to find the colour but I finally managed to read it while she was waving the tub around lol. It's "Extreme Orange". If you read the reviews on the website everyone was saying their hair came out more red with that colour too.
I’m a natural red head, but my hair lightens up a lot in summer (spend a lot of time in the ocean and it becomes a lot more “strawberry blonde/ginger”).. I much prefer a colour similar to yours at the start of the video (which I’m much closer to in winter) but I’m completely stumped about where to find information re getting rid of my lighter tones! Is there anything you could possibly recommend? Thanks!
Beautiful!! I’m going to dye my hair this color. Would u be able to share the makeup you are wearing in the video? Eyeshadow and lip color! Thank you so much!! I’m a new subscriber
Yes agree with everyone else who is saying your natural hair color is gorgeous/I would pay obscene amounts to have that color if I were to ever be ridiculously wealthy. But of course do whatever you want with your hair! Just wanted to say.
what sulfate free/ silicone free shampoo and conditioner do you use? I feel like we have a similar hair texture and yours looks so shiny and well taken care of
I love the shea moisture black Jamaican castor oil shampoo, and I've been using the garnier 1 minute nourishing hair mask, and the as I am leave in conditioner! also I top it off with some jojoba oil once it's dry.
