I love how you are worrying too much about your kids because of how they would be treated, but nobody has any rights to treat anyone differently because of how they look and more over of how their mamas look like.....I am not a mom and I wont say I know how U feel because I obviously dont but I do admire the way of ur thinking and where its going

I really appreciate the real talk at the end about your concerns about how your hair color may affect the way you and your kids are treated. I had similar concerns when I first wanted to color my hair pink, though I don't have kids. Every now and then i color the underneath hair on the back of my head pink with a semi-permanent dye. I can't quite commit to dying my whole head or using a more permanent dye.

Looks great! I've done pastel pinks many times and pinks fade really fast and with processes hair I only wash once a week but rinse and condition more. I'd have to touch up every week or two. Put pink tint in a conditioner if you want to keep it up. I know that pink is a shock but you'll love it by tomorrow :-)
It looks great! Your personality can totally rock pink hair so keep it! If you are worried about your complexion just change up your foundation a little bit.

Aww I think you can still do it without having to do a lot !!! Eg when my hair was black but I wanted to grow it longer before selling it, I did two strands near my ear and then two more at my nape pink !!!!

My mom got a few tattoos growing up and dyed her hair cherry red. The other kids thought she was cool and admired the way she looked. They'd get super happy whenever my mom would come pick me up. Adults and even relatives made her feel ashamed of her tatts and I think that's why she hides her ink. Honestly, I love my mom so I didn't care. She's blonde now but she's wanted to dye her ends blue so I'm giving her that push to do it. I'm an adult now but I still bring up the convo on not letting people's negative out looks bring her down or place doubt in her own decisions. People are always going to have an opinion on anything and everything all you should do is stand strong behind your pink hair. That's the best example you can give your kid. :)

I really do understand that you are afraid of what people might say, because I have the same fears but I think that you will live more happily if you just think about what makes you happy, what YOU like and your family's opinion. In my opinion the pink is better than the purple that you wanted. So it really suits you. I wish you to be happy and always to light us up with your big smile as you do !

You're the first one I've seen who wisely does a strand test. Looks beautiful, love the tones. The roots blend in fine. But I like the overtone color better, and maybe with some conditioner around the hairline where it takes darker. And for your skin tone, you need a warm pink, even a rose gold, and soft pastel is best if you're concerned about your family, etc. try Sushi from Lime Crime, Unicorn. I use it and get nonstop compliments. Its the intense violet in the colorista that accentuates the blue-green tone in the skin... Your son is so cute.
