Another overturned call goes in favor of the Patriots. 3min left in the 1st half and the Chargers finally stop the Patriots and forced them to punt. This is a momentum shifting point in the game. If the Chargers can score before the half, it would be huge as they get the ball first in the 2nd half. What follows is reminiscent to a year ago when the Patriots played at the Steelers and Jesse James' famous catch for a touchdown was overturned causing them to lose the game.
There wasn't indisputable visual evidence for the official to overturn the call. The player was on top of the ball making it hard to see if he had full control prior to going out of bounds. The right call was to let the call on the field stand.
