The stingrays do have their barbs removed, yes. And for an additional fee you can wade with them

If you want to actually swim with the stingrays, yes you have to pay. However, you can pet them for free

Having been to all three, I have to disagree. Texas has the bigger spaces, and the better animal experiences.
