Overvolting toys! #5 

Yea I found that part interesting and I'm glad I got that on video. It somehow started playing the audio as soon as I turned on the power, without pressing the switch. I opened it up to see what happened but unfortunately the pcb just consists of a big black blob, one motor controller (TC118S I think, it got a big hole in it), and two small electrolytic capacitors between the power rails and motor. Everything just connects to the chip-on-board including the switch. Old toys are much more fun when you can manipulate the audio circuit 🙂

I tried getting in to the motors to replace them, but I gave up after a few attempts. It was not as easy as taking the screws out, those things are really glued/welded shut! 😂
