100% agreed, made me laugh hard which is not good when recovering from surgery! So glad I stumbled onto Carbot from a random Summoners War video right after I was ashes deep into Elden Ring. I wish I had known about this when I was playing good old Overwatch 2 back when it came out.
Releasing all OW1 parody videos together again and calling it OW2 is the most passive-aggressive way I've seen so far for a content creator to call them out for bringing nothing new to the table. Amazing job!
@@noonsmith2495 As someone who has played 5v5, I can say with confidence that 6v6 needs to go. People who say 6v6 is better either haven't played 5v5 or don't understand the vast amount of benifits that come with it, such as far less hard CC for instance. Also tons of people are waiting and excited for PvE as well.
@@watchpointoh3354 No, i spent hundred of hours learning and loving the tank role as a duo with friends so fck 5v5, all this because the selfish dps players didn't wanted to vary of role.
@@Icewind007 yeah, Originally OW2 was going to be a PvP patch for OW1 (and wasn't a separate game), then a separate DLC for some PvE story content, but now it is kinda shoved together and made into a "new game" (thanks Activision)
I still love the hanzo joke of having classical stagehands making his stuff work. It makes me want to see a ninja or mage type character who does things via helpful spirits- like a ninja pulling off superhuman feats via living shadows helping them, or a Bartimaeus style Magician pulling off a classical wizard reputation when they just have a bunch of invisible minions with their own magic powers.
Love the idea of rehashing old videos for "new" games, but I hope a few people out there new to Carbot find this and enjoy a mega compilation of all of his great OW work for the first time.
@@watchpointoh3354 When you put "2" into the title of a game that comes with certain expectations, you don't just take the same game upgrade some textures and call it a sequel, that's just disingenuous and stupid.
@@AscendantStoic You fail to realize that the betas we have seen so far are only a tiny sliver of the actual game. You have also overlooked the core gameplay changes, including 5v5, new core gamemodes, and less hard crowd control, and the larger overall changes, such as the free-to-play live service model and monetization system. Theoretically a lot of these features could, or even should, be implemented into the first game, but some of them, such as the new graphics and shaders, require a more powerful game engine to run. And the most important part: the PvE. That was originally intended to release with the game, but due to the internal nightmare OW2's devs went through (they are human in case you guys forgot), it's development was slowed down several months and it now won't release until some point next year. But when it does, I pray people will stop this "its the same game" nonsense and enjoy the amazing story this game has to offer, along with apologising to team 4 for all the hate they have unjustly gotten. This game would have released well over a year ago if it weren't for crime boss Bobby Kotick, the true villain behind these scandals.
I haven't seen these in such a long time it's like I'm watching them for the 1st time again.....is what blizzard hoped we all would say when they gave us the same content.
Dude when you put out Ep 4 with Wanaways that song took over my life. Was playing the fuck out of Overwatch and you got that song stuck in my head bad. Love you Carbot!
The Torb POTG always gets me. I could watch it a million times in a row. Torb is who I pick when I only have enough time for like 1-2 games. I just go in, drop my turret, and shenanigans ensue. But the funny thing about this animation is IT'S SO TRUE. So many times when I get potg as Torb, I die early on in the clip and end up getting almost all of the kills in the potg while dead. Either from Molten Core or my turret. Or both... hahaha.
It took me AGES to realize the beat he's playing is the speed up one, hence why Reaper isn't getting healed. I just thought the joke at first was that the healing was so slow!
I know this is a joke but this is very nostalgic for me. Underwatched was the first Carbot videos I ever saw years and years ago and watching them over the years has been an absolute joy. I love you guys and can never wait to see what you come up with next
i like how this video refelt perfectely overwatch 1 when sim had 1 turret, cassidy had a flashbang, bastion had a TURRET form and i could go on and on like that
Oh man, old Bastion and old Hanzo, I miss them already... It's incredible how they made history with one of the best games ever and now they stomp it down the drain with shit reworks, awful role matchmaking and bland new heroes all coated in a terrible live service garbage and a shitload of expensive "micro"transactions. If you have been following the news, the lawsuits and layoff explain a lot. Every developer was either fired, arrested, left because they didn't get paid, weren't allowed creative freedom or escaped the awful workplace, or straight up killed themselves. But at least Bobby got his 100 000 000 $ bonus.

These animations and this game (OW1) were a huge part of my entertainment/life. Thank you for creating them and putting them together into this compilation! Amongst other things, I forgot Bastion could repair himself.

OMG I laughed so hard my sides hurt from watching all of these. That first one with Torbjorn, Overwatch 1 Season 1 Competitive I had ult ready while running back from spawn as Torbjorn. I used it while running and I got POG and everyone was like, "WTH?" because it just showed Torbjorn running.
