Overwatch 2 - All Junkenstein Interactions [2022 / Wrath of the Bride Edition] 

It is a fun little trope, that’s for sure. The idea of someone who joins every battle because they were told they would die of old age rather than in glorious battle. I know there’s probably a trope name for it, but I’ll just say Olaf from League of Legends.

@@mas8705 idk, but Valhalla is the best answer I can give. Vikings have a belief that dying of old age isn't a good thing since you won't join Odin's Halls to battle against Ragnarok.

The comic relief of the story. The only thing I don’t like about her lines, is her pronunciation of “castle”. Australians don’t pronounce it like that.

im shocked brigitte didnt get to be one of the heroines. honestly i kinda wanted her to have being the lords daughter/heir/apprentice trying to save him or even if rein got to be playable he himself fights alongisde her to retake his castle.

I'm surprised he has 2 Halloween skins and there wasn't an alternative ending where we fight him if we let the bride pull the switches. I was kinda hoping there would be.

It's definitely a nice change of pace, considering her two linked characters (Cree and Echo) are characters she loathes.

Imo, just getting unlucky in the boss fights is what ruins it. Like randomly echo may just one shot me if I'm not JQ. Speaking of her, she is a close quarters character who has a ability to reel in enemies that explode. the Winston fight is the worst imo because the fight is so enclosed and the barriers take up so much space. Along with the shock tires it becomes a festival of getting one shot or being tickled slowly by the Winston's. the sym boss is mid with the Winston's not feeling so oppressive and probably the second best with the Moira fight. The Moira fight is also mid not adding too much but when she gets a ult and your movement abilities are on cool down with sojourn or Ashe it's a bit hard to run away from what I have seen in failed attempts with Moira. Sombra fight is the best. Only complaint is that it's crammed. Plus overall barely any replayability it got really boring and woudlve done better if it wasn't near identical to the map layout normally.

Biologically, no. The brothers from training together growing up most likely view her as a "cute, little niece figure". Maybe uncle figures for her (siblings at best based on perspective). I mean, why else would (the fortune teller) look for those two?

In Junken lore those are their names, Hanzo and Genji dont actually exist they are used to visualize The Archer and The Swordsman who just so happen to have a similar story

I’m surprised blizzard isn’t just charging you for the option at this point.

Honestly would be more interesting. Imagine a group like Sigma, Bastion, Cassidy and Torbjorn. Guys would be mowing down everyone.

I don't like Junker Queen and Kiriko in this event at all not because of the characters themself but the enemy. Zomnic that blow up when get close in a tigh space is not fun to deal with. Make tanking a lot harder and Kiriko heal is ugh... to low to my liking for this event.

@@arsenal4739 no healer would be quite the challenge. Swap cass for Bap and you might have the ideal comp though.

@@Grizzy6122 yeah ik that Bap is good cuz he is an actual healer. Only reason I suggested those 4 was cause Cassidy can stun, Torbjorn got his turret + his ultimate would make great into wiping bosses health, Bastion cause its friggin Bastion and Sigma cause they would have a tank, but this is a biased choice of mine also since he is one of my favorite tanks in the game. He can also self heal but eh that wouldn't do much. I know it wouldn't fully work cause they have no healer. Though if I had to choose a healer, idfk maybe Moira cause she's crazy asf imo.

The original 4 killed Junkenstein the first time, then the Witch came back and revived him, his monster, the zomnics and brought the Summoner as a new ally, creating the Junkenstein version we can play today A comic states that The Viking, The Countess, The Monk and The Swordsman fought in this second battle The new characters added later, like The Outlaw, all exist in this fantasy world told bu Rein. My best guess is that since they are tales they can have different variations as they are passes between people as folklore

@@Rosequartz95 I think the same. I feel they were trying to get her to appeal to everyone but in doing so her character comes across very inconsistent. I'm assuming as well that the writers for the shorts may be different from the in game dialogue team too

@@MoonlightBrillance Agreed. Frankly, her being inconsistent, comes across as an OC and not an actual OW character. You can definitely feel Blizzard has new writers on their block. (But that just my opinion 🐸☕️)

There is a fan made mode in the workshop where you play as the villains: The Reaper, Junkenstein's Monster, Dr Junkenstein and The Witch of the Wilds Its narrated by Sombra and has some really cool things to it. The Summoner and The Reaper are exes, The Witch flirts with The Banshee, The Gunslinger can't decide on a name for himself, its great!
