@@spam-a-lamagaming If she's fortified while spinning, yes. But unless it was very recently patched, I've seen an OW2 video of Orisa getting pinned by Rein while spinning (without fortifying).
One tip for the rein matchup is if you have shatter and want a guaranteed shatter with style points, you can pin him, cancel pin into an instant shatter and they cannot block it no matter what. However, if you finish the pin into a wall, they have time to block the shatter
Thanks !!! great advises here. My prefered ones : "ignore orisa" and "ignore monkey diving your backlines " and 'don't hold shield but hammer first". Love that !!!! And "monkey players can't be that smart" ahahahah😄
Would also love seeing a map tierlist and a guide for the new maps - just focusing on good positions/corners to hold and flank routes for GIGACHÄD backline pins f.e. Especially on the new push mode I often take too much space (Feed) while we're pushing the robot because I don't know which corners are good to hold - or should I just stay around the robot? In general for push I don't really understand in which scenarios I should take/give space.
This will come with experience. Where you can hold is relative to how many of your team are alive, especially healers, and where they are. If it's just you and one healer alive after winning a fight you can't push up because the enemy team spawns and kill you easily 5v2. If you have 4 or 5 players then you push up to a position that either gives your team an easier time shooting than being shot at, or somewhere you can back off from. You never want to be using all your resources just to stay alive because you pushed up too far. Then the fight breaks out, your team has nothing and you lose. I see this all the time among inexperienced players.
I just started playing OW2 and started by playing some heals, just recently went to tank and cant stop playing Reinhardt. Almost every game I play theres massive rank diff
Yes, the shatter has 2 instances of damage, the impact and the cone. The impact is 250 damage and breaks bubble and the cone comes with just enough delay so it's not blocked by the breaking bubble
I feel stupid to say this but you can pin orisa if she uses the spinning thing, she will book you a little bit away, what I like to do is focus her after she lost javelin, and get up in her face and then she will use the spining thing, it will boop you a bit away but not far, by the time she canceled the spinning thing for fortify or javelin you would have already been pinning her, I'm in high plat and I do this so many times to orisa players, maybe they r stupid or this is a way to counter orisa idk really
