Overwatch 2 PVE IS FINALLY HERE 

Shed a tear for the voice actors who should have gotten waaay more work to do if this was fully flushed out.

Id rather just watch flats play the PVE missions than pay for them

In a vacuum, these missions were pretty fun. Not much replay value, but enjoyable for what they were and the harder difficulties do provide quite a challenge. And enjoying them for what they are is perfectly fine, I certainly did. However, I don’t think we should ever forget what Blizzard took from us and lied to us about, and I think we should all keep complaining about Blizzard forever because simply put, they deserve it.

I wouldn’t say it’s worth the 4 year wait. But these are still pretty cool, cutscenes and dialogue are great, gameplay is fun, maps/environments are gorgeous. The story is really good too, and deserves a full campaign, not just separate missions.

-Behind a Paywall -Boring gameplay -Only one hour of gameplay -Only 3 mission when they said an entire campaign -4 years of waiting for basically 3 archive events -No skill tree or custom abilities Good job Blizzard, you had to do only one thing to maintain a reputation and you failed.

-Ah yes, the enslaved robots that want freedom are the bad guys. -The robots that are no longer allowed to make any other robots, so they are literally going extinct due to prejudice. -The robots that could just live on the moon because they don't need air, food, or water, but are forced to stay on earth because humanity needs something to hate. After playing all the missions it really disgusts me how blizzard just gave up on creating the pve mode this had so much potential

feels like archive missions 💀

After playing the missions and watching flats play them i can honestly say that while they are fun... it really is just the archives event but now they cost money. If they are going to have us pay 15 dollars or more any time they release missions its gonna make a "free" game into a 200 dollar game. theres as much replayability as the archives event which was clearly shown to be mid at best

It’s just the old ow 1 events with cutscenes. Like we could add longer cutscenes to blackwatch and origins and it’d be the exact same fuckin thing

What if there were talents that made you deal corrosive damage, dealing increased damage to armor, like in the Borderlands games. Or... you know... talents at all

The fact that I could watch less than 30 minutes of gameplay and already feel like I have no replayability value even without playing it myself, says so much. My god, 15 dollars? This is just an extended archives event at best. Great you guys had fun, but man the only way I'd play this is if it was free and came with the OW2 launch.

Reinhardt is probably the best tank for PvE. He can delimb nullbots with striking inaccuracy and his pin can turn them into nuggets.

One thing I don’t understand is why the talent trees couldn’t be been reworked into a card system where at the start of the mission you allocate points on an upgrade card that gives your abilities additional affects and the number of points you have is based off the difficulty you’re playing on. I understand that the trees weren’t finished and we’re taking way too long but it’s still so dumb to completely scrap the main selling point of the mode and kill any replay value. Even if it was just 4 upgrades that would be more than enough.

These missions are MID. The archives missions had more meat than these and they were FREE.

I can already tell almost all the budget went into the cut scenes.

There is an achievement for the new room in the training grounds,you need to get 100 points either attacking bull's eyes or attacking training robots in the new room. :) It took me a few tries,but i got the achievement,kinda easy to be honest. :D

I thought the missions were fun the first play through and I liked the cutscenes and story but like we all expected this just makes me feel like it’s wasted potential and makes me want what we were originally promised even more. This just isn’t enough, I want more. I like what we got for what it is but I want so much more.

Honestly I'd love to see more of the different factions and a bit of a story mode in the pvp. Instead of everyone being able to pick everything and having the same hero on both teams I think it would be awesome if the attack team was something like talon or null sector heroes only and defense would be the overwatch team or other factions such as the shimada clan or the meka team grouped Into a resistance faction of some sort. Obviously they would have to add a ton of different characters cause the overwatch team has way to many people vs talon or omnic. But I think it would be a cool concept that would add a bit of a story line to different maps. Without really changing pve. I also feel it would make the game far easier to balance cause instead of having to balance around every character in the game when they release new characters it would create a smaller pool of characters in matches to choose from and you wouldn't have to worry about things like when sojo was broken.

I like that they use the same scenes more than once and the old scenes from the original PVE trailers 😂

I like how we waited for 4 years for a pve only for it to be scrapped and replaced with just missions that cost 15 bucks. Blizzard has hit peak greediness

Too bad it’s garbage, not even 1 hour long for the overall gameplay. (not counting the cinematics time) Stylosa did a full video of the cinematics, it didn’t even reach 30 mins 😬

The PvE was great! I really enjoyed watching the playthrough on RU-vid.

Im fairly sure almost that entire intro cutscene was just stitched together pieces of the various hero reveal trailers and the cinematics they released before OW1. There were like 2 new pieces of animation in that entire thing

All I could think about watching the cut scenes was, “imagine how great it could’ve been”

I genuinely have enjoyed playing the story missions! There are so many cool easter eggs and even the addition of the patchimari was very fun.

These honestly look like replayable Fortnite events, where there’s not a lot of overall content, but it progresses the story, which is what some people only play the game for.

Having an echo who can use ult on your support so you have two for a bit is actually a great idea. just the fact that you have a Lucio solo healing means anything to get more heals going around is a must-have.

Man I can’t wait to wait another 4 years for more PVE content just to be cancelled at the last minute 😢

ngl I didn’t really care about pve at all but it IS pretty fun watching streamers playing it. like I don’t feel like I’m missing out at all.

@12:10 You know,breaking parts of the robots maybe a small reference to a scene from an old movie called " Monty Python and the Holy Grail " , not sure though. :P I am saying this because the Omnics,even though they don't have any way to attack/defend themselves after you break parts of them,they still want to attack you. XD :P

These missions were so fun. I'm looking forward to the next ones.

One thing they should add would be an any hero option after you beat the mission like the archive events had an any hero mode

I actually quite enjoyed the missions to be honest. Maybe it’s just because I got three funny, random people. The new support character looked fun, so I figured I might as well get the battle pass to get them anyways.

I enjoyed my time with it and ill probably play it again but ive jusy started playing overwatch so i wasnt all that attached to the pve drama

I'm really enjoying the PvE missions. You do have to play it on the hardest difficulty since it forces you to play as a team. It really does feel epic

watching Flats play PVE keeps me from paying 25$ for this.

I'm happy to see this but sad to remember the potential it had and lost.

I legit thought I was just being stupid and not understanding how the PVE worked. Bruh, I am not fucking paying for this.

Its really good, things i want are a "Queue all difficulties" option, and something that makes it replayable.

The cutscenes, voice work, and environments are all fantastic, but these missions just felt.. off. They just felt so slow-paced in my opinion I don’t know why. A shame skill trees were scrapped, having some new things to play with would’ve been an absolute blast.

When it came out it was cancelled I put it down and never picked it back up, I think that initial damage will leave a decent loss in players
