Cheaters actually buy old accounts so they can pass as legit players, but you will see 17 years old accounts where all they have is CS2 with 200 hours played and some other free game. No inventory, no badges, nothing.

I started running into cheaters as soon as i reached above 20k, in 15-20k i barely saw anything but after 20k i have had several games in a row with spin botters

im 17k elo and i run into a lot of hackers, pretty much every other game. some are blatant spin bots, others are closet cheating. its pretty annoying so i just play faceit now

I used to feel the same way Jericho did regarding cheaters, just hardly ever ran into any of them and didn't think it was that bad. Anything over 18k is a cesspool, made me and my friends switch to Faceit.

20k+ you get rage cheaters, under 20k you get legit/closet cheaters, which easily go under the radar if you aren't watching the demo. You not seeing a cheating problem is quite literally a skill issue. Believe me, they're there.

Didnt run into a lot of cheaters until I finally started really grinding premier... Got to 17.8k in NA and the epidemic started. It wasnt every game, but it sure was enough to make me suspect anyone hitting impressive headshots of cheating.

22k elo here, the past few days I've lost about 2000 to cheaters. they just rank up too fast

You're not running into cheaters in USA because nobody plays the game anymore, but in EU , turkish, polish and russian players cheat like crazy.

Fucking hilarious when he scopes in on the doorway and Jericho perfectly predicts his thought process... "Just swing a little wide until you see his leg" and the guy does it instantly

So far the most cheaters I had in one game was 6 and one of my tm8s left to obtain cheats and somehow we won despite them having more cheaters than us 😂

But imagine how sad this guy's life must be. He is proud of his gameplay while still missing shots when playing with cheats

About the cheater thing. The First page of the leaderboard goes down to number 450 or so because literally 95% of the highest elo players are banned.

I haven’t been dealing with a lot of cheaters in cs2, but I have been dealing with a lot of ddosing where everything is fine then my whole teams ping goes over 400

From my personal experience the cheating problem is horrendous. When you que it is more than most likely you have 1/10 chance of getting a cheater

I have a sneaking suspicion that reporting others actually tanks your own trust factor and that there's some sort of exploit to trust tank ppl when they get mad at you for reporting them. Context: I had beta, q'd with pros and ex-pros like every couple games, even with only 7-12k elo. The beta ends and cheaters start getting pretty confident, I'm get 9-17k elo. I initially keep reports to myself because of my experience with pros in the lobby. Then they get really blatant with new accounts, so I start reporting. I immediately get trust tanked and get q'd against obvious wallers and boosters even some with bought accounts. I have never trash talked, I only say "hf

For the first time in Cs2, I ran into spin botters in wingman last week. Then someone with walls in a compet game like the next day. Just weird I havent experienced it before, but now twice in one week.

I have prime and a good trust factor too and I'm about to give up on valve's new anti cheat I'm not waiting around forever

ya know, when they're done updating the game to a state where most people are happy, they can add back "overwatch" as a mini game where you try to guess if a player is cheating. they can add in fake matches and "cheater" bots in those demos of the minigame. or add the demos of players that have been banned for the game.

I’ve had like 5-6 messages from Leetify saying there was an enemy that got banned for cheating but I NEVER have had an adjustment to my elo for losing to cheaters and that bothers me

i used to see cheaters hella bad when i first started playing csgo when i first got steam, but after a year or so i think my trust factor went up and stayed up i don't really recall much cheating since then if at all.

I'm not sure why they do it but every time I've had a cheater they are AFK almost every other round for a few seconds at the start of the round I have noticed.

There's no way it's your only cheater so far. Guarantee you've had others that just hid it better and didn't use it as a hard crutch

I think you answered your own question in the intro. You said that you only see bad cheaters in 15-16k, which would imply all the ones at least decent at it are in higher ranks. I can back that up being 21k. It isn’t every game, but it damn sure feels like it.

I think there's something about being a content creator that indirectly improves your trust factor by a lot. I hear a lot of content creators say they barely see any cheaters, but the rest of us deal with cheaters or extreme toxicity every other game if not almost every game. I don't know exactly what it is. Maybe the more people that look at your profile without reporting you, or commends, or something to do with being "popular". Call me crazy but it's just a trend that I've noticed. I literally do my best to have a good trust factor, I don't shit talk, I don't cheat, I don't TK, I don't kick people, I report cheaters and toxics, but it feels like I'm in red trust factor when I don't actually believe that I am.

I hover around 20k elo, I run into a cheater every other game or so. It's been so bad for the group I play with, that most of them have sold off their inventories, and quit the game entirely. It's a shit show, and valve is doing absolutely nothing about it. The game is absolutely not fun to play in its current state.

I only run into cheaters on my 21k rank account. If I'm in lower ranks the only cheaters I run into are in comp and not premier. NO CLUE why that is.

I play wingman with my bro pretty often it feels like we run into cheaters pretty often maybe once every couple sesh, premier doesn't seem nearly as bad.

Dude there no way. I get new account cheaters all the time. Many don't even try to hide it. The best ones are when the enemy get blatant then the top frag on my team start spinning. No, no, it gets better. Then the enemy cheater starts fires all bullets in scout mag instantly killing us. It's really getting bad. For the record I'm 16k+ rank

The inactivity at the start of the round is likely skin changer hacks. Which typically are bundled with all the other hacks (as you can see with bhop and everything else).

I would get that too, sometimes hit a ridiculous shot like i'm hacking but would only happen few times and suddenly the enemy becomes a god. Its like they think you are cheating so they toggle but it was just a lucky shot.

hacking is such a big problem that even the cheaters are now having to make sure their cheats are good enough to win impromptu HvH games in premier because it happens so often

Its hard to tell now, cheat engines are so advanced. Options to shoot body instead of head if the body shot will kill, etc.

ive played for about 200 hours on cs2 and only had 3 confirmed cheaters. the sad thing was all 3 of them took over 2 weeks to actually get banned.

Just got out of a game against a waller, watched the demo and he would push only if people where at the place he was going to peek, he was always in the perfect spot at the perfect time. He had no aimbot so he was killable. Looked up his account stats and he has a 100% 1v1 clutch win stat.

here in AU you gotta play faceit, on a good night you only get a hacker every 5th game

me and my friends are around 22k elo and at least every second game there is a cheater on either team. It's not even closet cheaters we see, they start rage hacking where they can empty an auto sniper in less than a second. First 2 times of countering this was pretty funny ngl, bec it was new and outrageous but it got boring pretty fast when we realised it's every second game.

I'm pretty sure they weren't cheating at the start. But once you bodied them a couple rounds in a row they toggled. I had the internal monologue of "okay, Police Brutality sure ain't cheating cause they're being dunked on super hard" before realizing later that it was exactly that which caused them to toggle. Good job Jericho, you went so hard you made a guy cheat. You were on one that game.

literally in my first game on cs2 there was a blatant rage hacker, for the 2 weeks i did play there was literally a hacker every single day. alot of the time if you suspect someone go into replay mode and just watch how they run around, 90% of the time they are ESP and dont check angles until they come to a corner with someone behind it

I know that premier is a little bit better than normal competitive, but in my last 10 competitive games playing 3-4 stacks with friends, 6 of those games have been against blatant cheaters. The last premier game I played there was a guy on our team who was a literal bot and then when we requeued he was on the other team and ended up cheating against us to avoid losing (17k elo).

For me, in NA, I run into ALL cheater lobbies all the time. I am at 19,500 elo, and 1/3 of my games have an actual spinbotter -DankSqueaker :)

The cheater problem gets worse when you go above 17-18k I've noticed. I had obvious cheaters in my 6 last games. Checked one vod to confirm and the others I checked their stats on Leetify where they had 99 or 100 aim rating and terrible rating in everything else except clutching. (Niko has 99 aim rating) Its actually insane. I play 90% on faceit but there is the smurf problem.

I've played about 250 hrs of cs2 and I have ran into 4 cheaters(2 sets of duos so they can't get kicked). Both games that had cheaters in them were competitive not premiere

I've had a few definitive cheaters over the years, but it wasn't rampant
