Phish, I've been a huge fan of your channel for a long time, and I love seeing these sorts of partnerships, but these PCs are down right predatory in terms of price to performance. The low end pc alone is ~$500 more expensive than building one yourself (assuming it's using the retail price of Windows 11 Home, if this was using CDKeys pricing then it's ~$600 over the actual cost of the computer). The components also don't make any sense in 2023 as you could easily have bumped the GPU up by 30 dollars or less (30 assuming the lowest consumer price for a warrantied GTX 1650 from PNY for $149.99) to an ASRock RX 6600 ($179.99) which in most games will actively double or triple FPS. The storage and RAM also make very little sense as m.2s are extremely cheap now, you can usually find a 1tb PCIE gen 3 m.2 (about 4 times the storage as the listed SSD) for like, 40 bucks, these m.2s can (comparing max speeds) be 7 times faster than the listed SATA SSD. The RAM is overspeced for this tier of pc, at the low end (which this pc is) the difference in performance between 3200 and 3600 RAM is negligible (around 1 to 2 FPS at around $10 extra), though this is more nitpicky. Finally, the R3 4100 is a bit underpowered, it is nice if you need the cheapest possible "modern" CPU, but with as much sheer overhead in cost there is, it should be bumped up to a 5500 at the very least, preferably a 5600(x). Total (Assumed with the lowest consumer available prices) cost of Apex's low end (before taxes): $581.49 (minus around $90 if using CDKeys or a similar site for Windows) Total cost of Upgraded low end (before taxes): $537.77 (using average price of 7 CDKeys esc. sites) Assuming the same cost of Windows the upgrade is around $40 more and would give upwards of triple the performance. Nearly the same margins (at a frankly still overpriced $1000 before taxes even if shipping were $100 per PC, which I'm %90 it's way cheaper than that) for way better hardware. For the sake of your less informed fans, please reconsider either the price or the hardware of these PCs (I went in depth about the low end one, but the other two may be worse in terms of price to performance) as these PCs are genuine e-waste for the price, you would be better off just getting a current gen console for nearly half the price of the low end pc (you could buy 2 Xbox Series S's and still have money to spare, with just one offering a better gaming experience), it would be much better for gaming and your fans wallets.
