Well, for one thing, no, they're not. Secondly, that wouldn't even matter. E.g. Chinese American food is an American invention, but it was created by Chinese immigrants and their descendants. So it's still a valid element of their culture. Same with stuff like Tex Mex or other Americanized foods.
