Don't know why they turned Doomfist in to a tank, his skill set simply don't work with that role

@@Eldelturnodelatarde I’m a overwatch 2 doom main (unfortunately didn’t play him much overwatch 1) and he definitely could work as a tank if they increase his survivability, make his block actually block things like sigma’s rock or orisa spear and increase his damage or at least a few things in those categories but I’d prefer a revert Overall though he could work but he’d need some big changes, pretty excepted when you take a character designed to be a dps then change him to become a tank

spoke too soon. he's now overtuned as a tank.

Yes, Doomfist used to grunt or sometimes yell out the name when using abilities. Now he uses banter or yells out the name of the ability.

If they had kept Uppercut in literally any way he'd be viable. But he's not.

lorewise he actually does, I mean, his story animated video literally shows that, he should've been a tank since the start imo, but it doesn't really matter now... I just wished there was a mode in OW2 where we could play with the OG dps doom

@@armagedd0nn694 yea, but like- Old doom was slam-uppercut-punch-slam levels of finesse and impact. New doom is punch-block for thirty seconds completely cutting off flow-punch-slam, which deals like no damage and barely disrupts a competent team.

@@cetadel6597 yeah because you need good aim and good tech you actually have more uptime with tank doom if you know how to cycle properly depending on the enemy team comp and your comp

@@armagedd0nn694 Exactly. No character should rely on the enemy team comp to be viable. Problem is, you can't buff Doomfist's numbers without the bronze supports crying.

@@lzuku_Midoriyaa After charging up a Power Block, it turns into Uppercut. This Uppercut is actually a full stun as well.

@@oliver4710 No thats the thing the charge you get can be used either way the only moves that dont use charge are Handcannon Seismic Slam and Meteor Strike.

Its a smurf his main has plat border I think. I dunno if he even plays ow anymore tho
